What Did You Have to Say About This Week’s Hottest TV Shows? Posted: 06 Feb 2013 10:18 AM PST TV watchers, what a week it’s been! 30 Rock ended. A new season of Smash premiered. It was somehow Halloween on The Carrie Diaries. Celebuzz recaps many TV shows, but we also really love hearing from you. That is why we feature your comments about today’s best TV programs in a weekly feature called TV Recap: Fan Edition. If you would like to have your thoughts and opinions featured, simply leave comments on any of our TV recap posts. Then tune in next week to see if your comment has been selected. See some of our favorite user recap comments after the jump.
“I doubt that many Oklahomans out of the bunch the judges saw will make it pass Hollywood week. It is unfortunate; I did not notice the seriously talented OCU college students auditioning. American Idol should host their auditions at OCU in Oklahoma should they go back there, and the college should encourage the students to audition. Many former OCU students have gone on and pursued performance related careers. I attended many musicals at OCU, and the talent was excellent. Oklahoma was not represented in the best light last night. In the future, I strongly encourage the OCU, OU, OBU and other colleges performing arts majors to show up at the American Idol auditions and represent.” – AnotherOpinion, who has strong opinions about this week’s American Idol. “I wanted to add that I've read comments from fans saying that Henry doesn't fit canon because John said he was a mechanic from a family of mechanics. I thought about this and realized that it does fit canon if John is referring to his mother's side of the family. Why couldn't they be mechanics? As for the older fellow in the diner in 1973 who asks young John to say hello to his old man couldn't that be a step father? John's mom would have likely remarried after Henry was gone for so many years?” – Cindy Shufelt Givens, making a good point about Supernatural canon. Lastly, Blerg had this to say about the series finale of 30 Rock: IS IT DUSTY IN HERE? YES, VERY DUSTY. WHY ELSE WOULD MY EYES BE WATERING RIGHT NOW? Remember, if you want your comment featured in next week’s TV Recap: Fan Edition, just leave a comment on any recap post on Celebuzz. Until next week, recappers… |
How Miss Independent Found Mr. Right Posted: 06 Feb 2013 12:25 PM PST It hasn’t been an easy journey for singer Kelly Clarkson to find love. She’s deflected gay rumors, she’s had her heart broken — but now all the pain has paid off. The very first American Idol winner announced that she was engaged to Brandon Blackstock, Blake Shelton‘s music manager and stepson to Reba McEntire, in December – and now she’s opening up about her road to find him and her dream wedding.
Clarkson reveals to People magazine that she had been dating the wrong guys all along. ”I was dating skinny jeans, and I needed Wranglers,” said the 30-year-old. “I didn’t know life could be this happy.” But Clarkson admits she was completely thrown off by Blackstock’s proposal — and had no idea at all it was coming. “If I did, I would have worn something besides Uggs and a sweatshirt with no bra,” she said. But now that things have sunk in for Clarkson, she’s getting into planning mode for the wedding, which she says will be an “earthy,” outdoor fall wedding at home. And it will definitely have a Texas feel, complete with yellow roses and a performance by a very special pal.“Blake [Shelton] actually is going to play at our reception, so we’re pretty excited,” she confirmed to radio station K-Frog. Sounds like the perfect down-home affair. Send your well wishes to Kelly in the comments section. Then tell us: what’s your favorite Kelly song? |
This Is What We Want From The Wanted’s New TV Show Posted: 06 Feb 2013 12:26 PM PST Eat your heart out, One Direction. Rival boy band The Wanted has landed a new reality series on E! network, the home of hit shows such as Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Married to Jonas. According to the network, The Wanted Life — its current working title — will follow the five singing heartthrobs as they share a home in Los Angeles, giving fans a glimpse into their superstar world. While Ryan Seacrest, who will act as the show’s executive producer, promises there will be “plenty of humor, antics and drama behind the scenes,” Celebuzz is hoping that cameras will be able to capture these three much-wanted moments.
1. One Direction smack talk. It’s no secret that The Wanted has a long-standing feud with fellow British boy band breakout One Direction. With the two bands trash-talking one another on Twitter, we can only imagine what The Wanted has to say about The X Factor UK alums when they’re home alone. 2. Max George and Lindsay Lohan drama. Singer Max George and Lindsay Lohan first sparked the rumor mill after George became embroiled in Lohan's November drama, where the Liz & Dick star had a nasty brawl with a fortune teller outside a New York City nightclub. Since the incident, Lohan has hit the road with George and his bandmates several times, catching them perform at z100′s Jingle Ball in December before attending two of their Philadelphia and Boston. As George recently broke up with his fiancee, we have no doubt that this 24-year-old is on the prowl — and we’re already relishing in the drama that LiLo can only bring to the table in the form of a potential love interest. 3. A ban on all shirts. Come on. This is pretty self-explanatory. |
Watch: Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s Love Story Unfold Posted: 06 Feb 2013 10:30 AM PST Can you keep up with Khloe Kardashian? The 28-year-old and her husband, Lamar Odom, have quickly become one of Hollywood’s most famous couples after tying the knot in 2009. Since then, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians duo released three uni-sex fragrances — Unbreakable, Unbreakable Joy and Unbreakable Love — and starred in their own E! spin-off series, Khloe & Lamar. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Celebuzz is taking a look at how this Hollywood power couple came to be, who they dated beforehand and how their fast-moving courtship turned into a lifelong commitment.
Recently, Kardashian was named one of the 10 richest reality TV stars in the world, thanks to her co-hosting gig on FOX’s The X Factor and her numerous fashion and beauty projects with sisters Kim and Kourtney. Likewise, Odom, 33, found success in his line of work. After a short stint with the Dallas Mavericks, the 2012-2013 NBA season saw the basketballer return to Los Angeles — not with his old team the Lakers, but with their upstart in-town rivals, the Clippers.See why this Hollywood couple get along so well in our Kissing Connections video, above. |
A Look Back at the Last 10 Album of the Year Winners Posted: 05 Feb 2013 06:41 PM PST Of all the major awards shows out there, none is quite as schizophrenic as the Grammys. Some years, the Recording Academy will go for the popular, accepted choice. (Think Taylor Swift, or last year’s Album of the Year winner, Adele.) Then, in other years, voters will ditch all thought, rhyme and reason and go for albums that will spend the next 20 years collecting dust on your grandmother’s living room shelf. (Seriously, who the hell bought Herbie Hancock‘s The River: Joni Love Letters?) Which means that this year’s crop of nominees are likely to be just as impossible to predict.
As we await to find out who will dominate Sunday’s telecast (Frank Ocean? fun.? Carly Rae Jepsen?!), Celebuzz has decided to give our readers a little refresher on some of the recent Album of the Year recipients. (Remember when Ray Charles beat Kanye West in 2005? Or When U2 beat Kanye West in 2006? Or when Herbie Hancock beat Kanye West in 2008? Or … Ugh.) Have a look in the gallery, above, then share your favorite winners in the comments, below. |
Watch: Denise Richards Defends Her Super Skinny Figure Posted: 06 Feb 2013 12:24 PM PST A picture is really worth a thousand words. After stepping out with her daughters for some ice cream, Denise Richards recently caused concern when she was spotted in a black tank top, which exposed her super-slim arms. Photos of the outing raised questions about her health, with one website referring to her new figure as “scary skinny.” But the actress says there’s nothing to worry about, defending her much-skinnier look to Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O’Dell. In an off-air interview, Richards told O’Dell she has maintained her usual diet and practices Pilates four times a week. The mom of three added that she was plagued with the same rumors when her elder daughters — Sam and Lola — were babies. With a baby in the house again, Richards is lifting her youngest girl Eloise, giving her arms more tone and definition. “I can vouch that the girl eats a lot,” O’Dell added in Richards’ defense. “She’s just naturally skinnier.” Just last year, Richards was lauded for her fit bikini bod during a trip to the pool in November. Away from the spotlight, Richards is dealing with some personal turmoil. She and her daughters are currently mourning the loss of their 13-year-old French bulldog, Hank.“The last few months she has been working a lot and just juggling everything,” a source told The Huffington Post about the 41-year-old. As for her career, Richards — who split from Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora last year — is heading back to the small screen in the upcoming ABC Family drama Socio, a drama about a 16-year-old girl returning home after being convicted of murder But the source admits that her grueling workload and personal life has not affected her weight, crediting Richards’ determination to live a healthier lifestyle. “It’s important for her to always instill good, healthy body image to her girls,” the insider revealed. “I don’t think she’s lost weight, maybe just leaned out a little and certainly not on purpose.” Tell us: What do you think of Denise’s super skinny figure? Sound off in the comments, below. |
9 Classic Movies That 3D Would Make More Awesome Posted: 05 Feb 2013 06:38 PM PST Tony Scott's high-flying action classic Top Gun is getting a 3D release on theatrical screens and home video this week, which was originally intended to pave the way for a Top Gun sequel before Scott's tragic death last year. Fans of 3D were no doubt excited for this bit of three-dimensional nostalgia, which now feels more like a kind of cinematic appetizer for the re-release of Steven Spielberg's jaw-dropper Jurassic Park later this year. Now that Hollywood is starting to turn away from transforming any and every upcoming blockbuster into a bad ass 3D experience starting to fizzle out, studios and filmmakers are starting to look at the technology on a film-by-film basis. Specifically, industry insiders are aiming their dimensionalization wand at movies that makes the most sense for the format, both past and present. With the home video market now opening up its eyes to the option of releasing films in 3D — as Fox did last year with I, Robot– Celebuzz has assembled a wish list of classic titles that would look amazing if transformed using the technology.
Admittedly, our selections include a lot of films featuring complex visuals and elaborate production design — all of which has looked terrific in more recent 3D projects. But Celebuzz went all of the way back to 1961 for the earliest film on our list, and we include a real cross-section of great movies whose fans would flip out at the chance to fall into their world. Click here to launch Celebuzz list of classic movies that 3D would make more awesome. And then let us know in the comments section below — what movie would you most like to see converted into 3D? |

Fame Whores, Begone: Coco Rocha is Looking for the Real Deal Posted: 06 Feb 2013 09:38 AM PST Since stumbling upon professional modeling as a teen, Coco Rocha has strutted the catwalk for high-end designers like Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney, has mugged for campaigns for high-end fashion houses like Versace, Chanel, and Dior, and has covered some of the industry’s most-heralded magazines like W, Harper’s Bazaar and even Vogue. Now, almost a decade into her career, Rocha is ready to share her model expertise as a mentor on Oxygen’s new reality competition series, The Face. But she won’t take just any competitor under her wing. “I don't need a team of girls who just want to be on this show to be famous,” she told Celebuzz during the show’s premiere party at New York City hotspot Marquee on Tuesday night. “I don't want reality TV stars. I want to find an actual model that really, passionately wants to learn something from me. I think I got that in my girls.” Though she is flexible with her team of fashion-industry hopefuls, Rocha won’t stand for anything that stains her good name. “I am strict in certain ways. I don't [want to] push things on my girls,” she explained. “If they say to me, 'I'm not comfortable with this,' or 'I don't want to do that,' there [are] reasons why. And I leave it at that. I say straight [to] them, 'If you do anything that makes me or my team look bad, you're out.'”When The Face premieres on Feb. 12, drama will ensue — not only amongst the contestants as they go head-to-head in photo shoot, runway show and commercial challenges, but also between the mentors: Rocha and fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell and Karolina Kurkova. “It gets so passionate on this show,” Rocha said. “You're going to see that we're crying, we're upset, we're yelling. We are just so involved in our teams. [So] there's the aspect of a competition and a winner, and then there's the aspect of just watching the mentors…. There's emotion involved because you want your team to win. You want to make sure that they do well. Alongside that, you want to make sure that they actually learn.” And one nugget of knowledge that Rocha will be sure to share with the aspirants is her ongoing campaign against the prevalence of eating disorders in the industry. “Thing is, if you talk about it, it's better. So I have to promote that for the girls,” she explained. “The girls have to stop and say, 'No, I'm not going to do that.' And the same goes for whoever we are working with, [be it] clientele, designers, photographers, editors. If they are pushing anything, they need to say, 'Hold on, I'm talking to a young teenager here.’”“I think it's just for everyone to be aware that we (models) need to say, 'Hold on a minute,’” she continued. “And they need to [realize] they're dealing with a young individual. It is really is so easy to fix. We just need to work on the cycle.” The Face premieres on Oxygen at 9 PM / 8 PM Central on Feb. 12. |
Watch: How Snooki Went from the ‘Jersey Shore’ to the Millionaire’s Club Posted: 05 Feb 2013 05:48 PM PST Today, Celebuzz is continuing to look at the most powerful players in the business with our Hollywood Power Index — and who knows fame, fortune and success better than our own blogger, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi? We recently caught up with the former Jersey Shore star to find out how she turned a spot on a reality TV show into a mega-million dollar career — not to mention her own blog. (Seriously, you gotta check it out. It’s awesome.) Have a look at the interview, below. Celebuzz: Few reality stars are able to successfully brand themselves in a way that transcends the small screen. What is your secret? Snooki: My fans. I have the best supporters in the world who love how I’m different. I have a certain style about me that helps me to brand myself differently from everybody else. Celebuzz: When did you first recognize that your popularity from the series could be parlayed into something beyond TV?
Snooki: My first branding opportunity came when I was wearing these comfortable shoe slippers in season 2. Right after that season aired, I got a call to do my own line of sneaker slippers. That’s when I knew I could go far with my brand and try everything! Celebuzz: Speaking of branding, define the Snooki brand. What are the trademarks or characteristics fans can expect in regard to products, promotions, appearances and other business decisions you make? Snooki: My brand is different, unique and FUN. All my products have at least some animal print in it whether it’s in the product itself or the packaging. All of my products resemble my personality and how I always love to have fun. Celebuzz: From tanning lotion to cosmetics, hair accessories and baby slippers, you’ve had a very busy year work-wise. Which of the business ventures over the past year has been your favorite to work on?Snooki: I don’t like pin-point my favorite product I’ve worked on because I’ve honestly had a blast designing every single product I have. I’m very proud of everything that I’ve accomplished so far and feel very blessed to have these opportunities and my fans that support me. This is just the beginning of Snooki by Nicole Polizzi. My ideas are endless. Celebuzz: Before collaborating with a brand or working with a company to develop a new line or products, what are some of the factors you look for when deciding to partner up? Snooki: First, I have to make sure the people I’m working with understand who i am and my style. If they don’t get it, they’ll never get it. Celebuzz: Without naming names, what is the most bizarre or worst business proposition that’s come your way?Snooki: I’ve gotten a few pickle deals that didn’t sound so exciting. But my dad gets so many bizarre offers that he doesn’t even mention because he knows they aren’t right for the brand. Celebuzz: Tell us a little about Snooki Couture By Nicole Polizzi. In what ways was this line strategically designed/developed in order to showcase your fashion sense? Snooki: Snooki Couture is basically the grown up Snooki line. Since becoming a mom, I wanted to add couture to my brand to have the sense of classiness and also maturity, but still fun at the same time! So lots of animal prints, metallics, spikes, bows, golds and blacks, etcetera. Celebuzz: You created a baby slipper line for Happy Feet/Snooki Slippers. Can mommy-fans expect more launches like this for their little ones? Snooki: I definitely have a lot of ideas I’d love to come to life like diaper bags and also a fabulous maternity line. Throughout my pregnancy I did not wear or article of maternity clothes, and all pregnant ladies said I had amazing fashion during my pregnancy. I want women to feel just as good as I did pregnant and would love to design my own maternity line. Celebuzz: What advice would you give to young women to encourage them on their path to success?Snooki: Always stay true to what you believe you want your business/brand to be. Don’t ever change what you want just to succeed. You’re ideas are original and you will succeed one day. Celebuzz: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What are some of your major goals as they pertain to your career? Snooki: My ultimate goal is to follow in Jessica Simpson’s footsteps. She has made herself to be a huge fashion brand. I also would love to have my own store and every product I can think of. What do our experts have to say about the mini mogul’s future in entertainment? Click on the video above to find out. |
Rihanna Is Chris Brown’s Ride-Or-Die Chick (PHOTOS & VIDEO) Posted: 06 Feb 2013 11:12 AM PST Are Chris Brown and Rihanna making more sweet music? After RiRi recently defended their controversial reconciliation, the back-on couple came together for a past-sundown recording session in Los Angeles, Calif., on Tuesday night. After five hours honing their craft, the pair were spotted leaving the studio in Brown’s black Porsche in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.Perhaps Brown is channeling his frustrations into creative energy. Around the time of the late-night music-making, he ranted about his renewed probation drama on his newly private Instagram. “Im wise I can handle the hate but enough is enough, yo!!” he wrote, according to TMZ. “Im a human being and I honestly think I deserve respect Im sick of being accused … Im tired yall Just don’t understand Ive been going through this sh*t since I was 19 years old .. You cant sit here and tell me to calm down, when am I gonna get a positive outcome out of anything I do?”The tirade came after the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office accused the singer of falsifying court-ordered community service filings on Tuesday. Now Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos is condemning the claims as “scurrilous” and calling on a judge to sanction said prosecutors. “Apparently the district attorney’s office has completely lost their minds,” Geragos told the Los Angeles Times. “They are making scurrilous, libelous and defamatory statements and apparently have lost their ability to read their own reports.” In a 19-page motion filed by Deputy District Attorney Mark Murray on Tuesday, the DA’s office asked the court to decline Brown’s community service, charging the Grammy-winning singer with failing to "credible, competent or verifiable evidence" that he completed his 180 days of court-ordered labor, part of his five-year probation stemming from his 2009 felony assault of recently-reconciled girlfriend Rihanna, according to a press release. At the time of his August 2009 sentencing, Brown was given permission to complete the probationary order in his home state of Virginia. But according to the motion, investigators of the district attorney’s office discovered “discrepancies” and possibly “fraudulent reporting” in Brown’s account after speaking with Virginia community service supervisors involved his probation. Furthermore, no one from the Virginia Probation Department "ever approved, scheduled, supervised, monitored, or verified any of the community labor." But Geragos maintains that the prosecutors conducted six interviews with Virginia authorities that confirmed Brown had performed the obligations. Now as the district attorney asks the court to require Brown to fulfill his community service obligation in Los Angeles County, Geragos is pushing for the Richmond Police Department to “take legal action against the Los Angeles County district attorney.”Brown’s probation hoopla comes on the heels of an investigation into his late-night brawl with fellow hip-op artist Frank Ocean. More the a week after the two came to blows in the parking lot of a Los Angeles-area recording studio, authorities announced will soon close the case without any charges being sought by either side, despite Ocean originally being “desirous of prosecution.” Do you think Brown is telling the truth? Sound off in the comments. |
Catherine Zeta-Jones Reveals Michael Douglas’ Secret to Kissing Matt Damon Posted: 06 Feb 2013 09:08 AM PST Michael Douglas locks lips with Matt Damon in the upcoming HBO biopic Behind the Candelabra, about Liberace and his lover, Scott Thorson. But, like any doting husband, he kept wife Catherine Zeta-Jones on his mind the entire time. "When Matt Damon was kissing Michael, I found [out] — which is very flattering for me — he closed his eyes and pretended he was kissing me," Zeta-Jones told Celebuzz while promoting her new movie, Side Effects. "I just thought that was one of the biggest compliments I've ever had!" "If my husband's going to kiss anyone else in the world, I'm so happy it's Matt Damon," she added with a laugh.
Opening Friday, Side Effects — which tells the story of a doctor (Jude Law) whose life falls into shambles after he prescribes a drug to a woman (Rooney Mara) battling depression — reteamed Zeta-Jones with director Steven Soderbergh for the third time (after Traffic and Ocean’s Eleven, respectively), which was something she couldn’t wait to experience. "He rubbed my feet when I was pregnant on Traffic and that's the only reason why I keep coming back," she joked about the Oscar-winning filmmaker. "He looked after a pregnant woman so well, I just knew I'd always be in good hands." The film, in which she plays Dr. Victoria Siebert, also allowed her to do a little same-sex kissing of her own, with co-star Rooney Mara."I just wish she were prettier, that's the only thing," Zeta-Jones quipped. "She's not funny, she's not pretty, she can't act." |
Hey, John Stamos: J-Law Likes Your, Umm, Assets (VIDEO) Posted: 06 Feb 2013 08:37 AM PST Another day, another funny anecdote courtesy of Jennifer Lawrence. After a stunning appearance at the Oscars luncheon, J-Law hit the talk show circuit once again — this time visiting Conan on Wednesday night, where she talked about her love of beer, the Puppy Bowl, and one of Full House‘s most famous characters. (We’ll give you a hint: It’s not Mr. Woodchuck). As she joked around with Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter, Lawrence gushed about meeting her all-time celebrity crush: John Stamos aka Uncle Jesse. “He was at a party, and I turned into a perverted guy,” she shared. “I was like following him into rooms and staring at his ass. I lost my mind. And I got so upset — I didn’t want to meet him because when I meet people it's never good, and I was avoiding him, but then my friends brought him over because my friends are jerks, and I started really freaking out and he asked me if I was on mushrooms and I said, 'No. I'm dead sober. This is just me.’” And Lawrence had plenty of love to give. The Oscar-nominated actress also fawned over O’Brien and Richter, two of her longtime idols. "I've been watching the show for 15 years and I'm 22 years old," she said. "The producer said to me, ‘Andy Richter’s going to hug you,’ and I started tearing up.” But not all things were sentimental. Keeping things fun and goofy, Lawrence brought on the laughs as she shared the details of her recent Super Bowl party, along with her newfound obsession with the Puppy Bowl. "It was just a lot of drinking, I guess," Lawrence said. "We watched the Puppy Bowl…. It's just puppies! And then they have a little camera in the water bowl — it's genius!” The actress added that she was “five beers in” during the bash, and explained why parties must be held at her home."I kind of have to throw parties at my house because I never leave my house…I sound crazy," she said with a laugh, adding “I don't have to put a bra on and I don't have to change my pants!” Staying on the topic of pigskin, the 22-year-old revealed her former stint as an Abercrombie and Fitch model. Her pictures were never published, however, because her competitive nature came in full force during a beach football photo shoot. “I thought that overnight I had just gotten really good at football. Then I realized they were model football-ing, and I was really playing football.” Launch the video to watch J-Law’s appearance on Conan. |

What a Real W.O.M.A.N. Looks Like Posted: 06 Feb 2013 07:48 AM PST Jennifer Love Hewitt would like to clear something up: She is a wooo-man. In the new steamy promo video for The Client List, the actress strips down to lacy lingerie getups, seductively shaking, swerving and shimmying amid a bevy off male back-up dancer as she belts out the bluesy ’60s single, “I’m a Woman.” From spinning through splashes of water to sexily slinking across a lit-up sign that reads “W.O.M.A.N,” a scantily-clad Hewitt beguiles as she belts out the high notes in the nearly two-minute spot. “Season 2 is gonna be hot!” the actress gushed, tweeting the link to the video of “I’m a Woman,” which has be famously covered by everyone from Bette Midler and Peggy Lee to Reba McEntire and Wynonna Judd. “Thanks to Randy Jackson for doing an amazing job on the song for our promo,” she added. “It was a dream.” It seems a risqué promo video has become tradition for Hewitt’s The Client List. Ahead of the Season 1 premiere of the Lifetime series, Hewitt turned heads with her sassy rendition of Shirley Bassey‘s “Big Spender.” On the show, Hewitt plays Texan single mother Riley Parks, who falls into the of high-end prostitution after she’s befallen with financial debt in the wake of her husband leaving her.Season 2 of The Client List premieres Sunday, March 10, at 10 PM EST on Lifetime. |
Watch: JWoww Reveals How She Wants to Go Gangster Posted: 05 Feb 2013 06:40 PM PST Jenni “JWoww” Farley has one birthday wish this year — to not age. “I've decided for my birthday I'm gonna stay 27,” the Snooki & JWoww star told Celebuzz. “So I'm gonna stay 27 for the next three years.” But just because JWoww is sidestepping growing old and grey doesn’t mean she won’t ring in her Feb. 27 birthday with a bang. “I wanna do two things,” she explained. “I wanna do Vegas, 'cause I always do Vegas. And I wanna do Big Ang's Drunken Monkey. How cool is the Drunken Monkey?” The Staten Island bar belongs to Mob Wives matriarch, Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, who has run the Westerleigh-section watering hole for over five years. Despite her apparent admiration for the pub, “I've never been there,” JWoww said, “so I'm dying.”“Everyone's invited,” the engaged MTV star — who’s put off wedding planning with fiancé Roger Matthews for now — effused excitedly. “You guys are invited. We’ll do like a crazy press, like red carpet and we’ll obviously all will be drunken monkeys. We’ll all be drunk, falling over, and we’ll take it inside.” And Big Ang is totally game to play host to the former Jersey Shore star’s boozy bash. “Yes, I wanna do it,” Ang, who now stars on her own VH1 spinoff, Big Ang, told Celebuzz. Along with JWoww’s long guest list of family, friends and press, Ang hopes her Mob Wives co-stars will stop by for the sure-to-be sloshed soiree. “I’m inviting them all,” she said. Nowadays, the Drunken Monkey is hosting more than just local and celebrities. “It's actually become like a big tourist trap…[for] people from all over,” she explained. “I watch the show there every Sunday, and [one] Sunday a bus came with 30 people from Philadelphia.”But Big Ang welcomes any and all business with open arms. “It’s good. They’re all wonderful,” she gushes. “They’re very nice people.” |
The 12 Fashion-Week Fixtures You Should Know Posted: 06 Feb 2013 07:09 AM PST Everyone knows that watching the latest fashions come down the runways is only half the fun of New York Fashion Week. Mila Kunis Travels to Zambia to Get a Ring — But It’s Not What You Think Posted: 05 Feb 2013 08:12 PM PST Mila Kunis was spotted in Africa last week shopping for a ring, but she won't be spotting a diamond sparkler… just yet. The Friends with Benefits actress – who's been dating her former That 70's Show co-star Ashton Kutcher since last spring — traveled halfway across the world to Zambia last week and was photographed shopping at a high-end jeweler. Inevitably, it fueled rumors that she and her 34-year-old beau of nearly 12 months were browsing for engagement rings. Not so, according to a local businessman who spoke to Kunis. "She is the new face of Kagem, a local emerald mine," Chalimba Phiri told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview. "She's currently shooting in our game parks called South Luangwa National Park. "I’m told the shoot went very well. We had a bunch of paparazzi trying to crash the party."
Kagem is known as Africa’s largest emerald mine, producing 15-20 percent of the world’s emerald production. "A friend of mine is cutting the emeralds for Mila," Phiri said of the 29-year-old actress. "The emeralds are both for the campaign and her gifts.” Still, she found time to mix with locals and even talked about her love life with Kutcher – and also his ex Demi Moore, our onlooker said. "She did say she's dating Ashton. She joked about stealing him from Demi," Phiri revealed. "And I joked about wanting Demi." Kunis' quip comes just one month after The Two and a Half Men star finally filed for divorce from 50-year-old Moore; the pair had ended their six-year marriage more than 12 months before. Not surprisingly, the newly-minted Sexiest Woman Alive won the over the locals with her down-to-earth charm. "She talked about coming from a small town and her roots," Phiri said. "I went to school in Wichita, Kansas, so we joked about small towns. She has a great personality." This isn't Kunis' first time putting her best face forward as a glamorous model. Just last year she was named as the new face of Christian Dior. Would you like to see Mila become Mrs. Ashton Kutcher? Sound off in the comments below.

Watch: Kristin Cavallari Explains Why She’s Stalling a ‘Hills’ Reunion Posted: 06 Feb 2013 07:35 AM PST In life, people are often faced with tough, hard-hitting questions. To be or not to be? Is there a God? What is the meaning of life, anyway? For Kristin Cavallari, though, one question always seems to creep up: Would she ever consider filming a reunion of The Hills? Celebuzz asked the 26-year-old mom that very question at her jewelry launch on Tuesday, during which she made it clear that getting the MTV gang back in front of the cameras will probably never, ever happen. “I just don’t know what we would do it about,” Cavallari told Celebuzz.
“So much has happened in my life since The Hills,” Cavillari — who welcomed son Camden in 2012 — continued. “For me to mentally go back to the place would be difficult. I’ve sort of moved on from it all.” “We’ll see. I don’t see it actually happening.” The question was prompted by an interview that Cavallari’s co-star, Lo Bosworth, gave to Celebuzz in December. In it, she said she “would love” to see a Hills reunion happen, even if she probably wouldn’t do it, either. "I know enough about reality TV and what goes into making shows at this point that I would be hard pressed to participate myself unless I had some control in the editing room," she explained."Even if I didn't participate, which I probably wouldn't, I would love it to happen just so I can see what's going on with everybody else," she then added. |
Beliebe This: Justin Bieber Makes Out with a Mannequin (VIDEO) Posted: 06 Feb 2013 05:40 AM PST Do kiss and tell, Justin Bieber. Paying a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the Biebs got up close and personal with a mystery brunette — well, a mannequin to be exact. “Don’t fall in love with it, Justin, no! Focus!” host Jimmy Fallon begged as the 18-year-old singer planted a kiss on the female doll’s lips. But hold off on the angry tirade, Beliebers: the singer’s make out session wasn’t intended to cause jealousy for his fans (or Selena Gomez). The steamy smooch was all part of Fallon’s sketch: a “three-point shootout with random objects.”
After showing off his kissing technique, Bieber proceeded to throw the mannequin’s head into a basketball hoop. Adding to the craziness, the Canadian crooner even revealed the identity of his father: Chuck Norris. “Crazy news, breaking news: Chuck Norris is my father,” he joked at the start of the game, which also featured a framed photo of the action star, ramen noodles and milkshakes. Prior to the silly shootout, Bieber and Fallon dished about their shared love of expensive rides, including the “Believe” singer’s Ferrari 458 Italia, which has often landed him in trouble.“You know what, the police really like to pull me over,” he explained. “I don’t do anything, I promise. It looks bad, you see pictures of me, but really, the tints are really dark and a lot of the times they’ll pull me over.” Adding, “I don’t want to cause accidents because people are trying to take pictures and I thought it would be more safe for everyone else if I had dark tints. I’m having fun being 18 and enjoying my life and being responsible.” And Biebs is certainly enjoying the good life. In addition to his reunion with Gomez, he’s currently rehearsing for his double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend. “I’m nervous, but I think it’s going to be fun. I’ve just got to remember to memorize the lines,” he said. Want to see Justin kiss and tell? Launch the video, above! |
