| Why Can’t Iron Man Sleep? (VIDEO) Posted: 05 Mar 2013 12:44 PM PST With less than three months from it’s theatrical release, Walt Disney Pictures has debuted brand new Iron Man 3 trailer to satiate comic fans’ appetites. In the freshly-released teaser, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) seems to be facing tough times as a new villain named The Mandarin encroaches on his territory — like blowing up his seaside mansion with a missile. “Things are different now,” he says to his assistant-turned-girlfriend, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). “I have to protect the one thing that I can’t live without — and that’s you.” And big things might be happening for Pepper too.
Aside from the split second we see Paltrow in her skivvies, many fans have pointed out that the trailer hints at Pepper’s transformation to “Rescue,” the persona the comic book character when she dons Stark’s superhero suit. As the trailer depicts Pepper stepping into a metal contraption designed to transform soldiers into other Iron Man-like troops, comic enthusiasts are hoping this theory comes true when Iron Man 3 hits theaters May 3. On Monday, the High School Musical star was spotted relaxing on the balcony of a private Mexican resort with ‘Annie Automatic’ rocker Christopher French, whom she started dating last December. Clad in a nude-colored bikini, the 27-year-old was seen enjoying a fuit smoothie as she sunbathed with her beau. Tisdale tweeted about her much-deserved getaway, writing:
The actress also gushed about her French on Twitter, writing: “This is by far the hottest voice I’ve ever heard,” alongside a screenshot of her Annie Automatic playlist. The Jersey Shore star just filmed his very first music video for the single "Back To Love," featuring crooner Jay Sean — and Celebuzz is taking you behind the scenes of the fashion show-themed clip. "[This is] really exciting stuff right now," Pauly said while on location at Siren Studios in Hollywood, Calif. And it certainly should be: he’s had his hands in virtually every part of the video-making process.
"The whole entire concept, from the extras to the models — everything,” he said. "It's a tough job picking out beautiful women.” Yeah, buddy! "It's a runway show,” added Pauly, who just signed a new residency deal at Aria hotel in Las Vegas. “It’s got a back-to-love theme.” He even offered a possible spoiler. Such was the case for bumbling BBC radio rookie reporter Chris Stark, who he sat down with the actress as she promoted her new film, Oz the Great and Powerful, in London. But after Stark admitted to being “petrified” because he had “never done this before,” Kunis showed her sympathetic side by guiding the starstruck superfan through the interview. “How are you feeling?” she asked, turning the tables on her interviewer. “It’s not that bad, it’s not that scary…. What about this is frightening to you? Tell me.” In the viral YouTube viral, which has racked up nearly a half million views, Kunis and Stark barely discuss the star’s big-screen role in the new Disney film — apart from the actress spewing off a few stunted tidbits about her on-screen character Theadora. Mom-of-two Kate Hudson is the latest starlet to show off her bod, going topless on the cover of Glamour‘s April 2013 issue. Shot by famed fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, the shoot features the stunning 33-year-old Glee actress posing in barley-there attire as she lounges around in a modern mansion. Hudson, who’s currently engaged to Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, also revealed how she whipped back into shape after giving birth to her second son, Bingham, in 2011.
“Dancing, Pilates, and running after Bing,” she told the publication. “And Ryder is the coolest cat—an amazing big brother, so patient and tolerant,” she gushed about her eldest child from her previous marriage to rocker Chris Robinson. “Bing pulls his hair, and Ryder just laughs. Back in February, Upton set the world abuzz with her second Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover, baring her bosom in nothing but a parka despite the bone-chilling temperatures of Antarctica. Now a Russian doppelgänger has tongues wagging after mimicking the widely recognizable snap. “Me as Kate Upton,” tweeted Ania, a self-described mail-order bride in training, along with the photo. Admittedly impressed, Upton soon retweeted the snap of her likeness, applauding it as “amazing.” The Internet quickly flew into a frenzy, catapulting Ania into something of an (NSFW) online sensation. And in response, the seemingly scared-off buxum blonde — who gained several hundred followers amid the hoopla — has since privatized her Twitter account. As the countdown continues to her Diamonds world tour, Rihanna is revealing a sneak peak of all the pre-show preparations, from the stage setup and the fashion-forward wardrobe to the dancer auditions and her rehearsals. "This routine gives you the feeling of a stripper slash hood,” a choreographer explains of Rihanna’s hip-swaying, two-stepping moves. “That's the type of energy, the type of mindset, you'll be in for 'Pour It Up.' I'm sure everyone is going to love it." After kicking off March 8 in Buffalo, N.Y., the 74-date Diamonds world tour — which is in promotion of her seventh studio album (and first-ever No. 1 album), Unapologetic — will see the Grammy-winning singer crisscross North America and Europe before wrapping up in Helsinki, Finland, on July 28. For the North American leg, Rihanna will be joined by chart-climbing Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky, who previously spit rhymes on her “Cockiness” remix and performed at her side on stage at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. So before Rihanna hits the stage, go behind the curtain on the Diamonds tour by pressing play on the videos below. Wardrobe "The theme is different for every section. There's a little bit of rock 'n' roll, a little bit of sexy,” explains costume builder Marley Glassroth, as the camera scans Rihanna for River Island gear, rows of black sneakers and a biker jacket adorned with Rihanna-themed patches. “It's kind of all over the place,” she added. | Take A Peek at Kate’s Royal Baby Bump Posted: 05 Mar 2013 01:03 PM PST  Kate Middleton‘s ever-so-tiny baby bump continued its tour of the world on Tuesday when the Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England. The 31-year-old mom-to-be, whose pregnancy was confirmed by the Palace in December, looked fit to be Queen in a belted brown Celeste coat by Hobbs, which she matched with a simple pair of black pumps. Middleton, who married Prince William in April 2011, was there to talk to jobless teens who are currently being helped out by the Prince's Trust program. She is set to give birth in July, the Palace confirmed in January. No word yet on the sex of the baby.
News of Middleton’s pregnancy first broke on Dec. 3, when Middleton was hospitalized in London with hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness. Jennifer Aniston has turned to Katie Holmes’ ex-bodyguard to watch over her while she shoots her latest film in Connecticut. She’s not the bodyguard’s only celebrity client: the hired muscle — known as Sheldon — also protected Holmes’ daughter Suri and still works for her ex-husband Tom Cruise. In fact, Sheldon just jetted back from the UK, where he was protecting the Top Gun star on the set of All You Need Is Kill. His work relationship with Cruise and Holmes was certainly fruitful — but part of it sank fast when the couple’s marriage tanked. "Katie really liked him, but she hired a whole new team once she split up with Tom in case Sheldon reported back to him,” a source told Celebuzz. That’s left him free to protect the likes of Aniston. "Sheldon is a cool guy, one of the best in the business," a set source said. "He has been very attentive to Jennifer, following her around set with an umbrella and protecting her from the nasty weather. "He is very experienced in dealing with both paparazzi and production staff, and no unwanted persons will trouble her with him around." That’s certainly a priority. As Celebuzz previously reported, producers of the new flick — based on an Elmore Leonard novel — have been paying off locals to keep their distance from the star. | Cyndi Lauper On Her ‘Kinky Boots’ Connection: ‘I AM A Drag Queen’ Posted: 04 Mar 2013 08:21 PM PST These boots are made for…dancing. Cyndi Lauper is about to make a splash on Broadway with Kinky Boots, her high-stepping new musical about a young man who comes up with an ingenious idea to save his family's sinking shoe factory: cater to drag queens. Sounds like a plan to us.
It's certainly not unfamiliar terrain for the girl who still wants to have fun. In 2008, Lauper launched her annual True Colors tour to benefit the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community. She’s also performed at countless Pride parades and lobbied for gay rights more times than you can say “She Bop.” Back in the late ’90s, she even served up a tune about two average working guys who, come evening, transform into "dancing queens." We'll give you a taste of Ballad of Cleo & Joe right here, but the real draw isn't the tune's thumping beat. Or its "werk! werk! werk!" refrain. It's how Lauper, who was heavily pregnant with her son Declyn (now 15) at the time, hid her massive baby bump. Okay, she didn't really hide it. But that's half the fun. So what's Lauper's connection to dudes who look like ladies? "I'm a bit of a drag queen," she told Celebuzz at last week's Kinky Boots sneak peek, held at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in NYC. "I am actually an extended member of the gay and transgender community. I'm friends and family. So, of course I would understand about people who are different. I'm different myself. You know, I'm a bit of a drag queen anyway. But I think that everybody is different. I've always been on the outside of things." Not anymore, as Lauper is fitting right in on the Great White Way. For Kinky Boots, she teamed up with Broadway legend Harvey Fierstein, who wrote its book, and Tony-winner Jerry Mitchell, who serves as director/choreographer. Lauper penned all the tunes, of course, including one that's already a bonafide crowd-pleaser: "Sex Is In the Heel." When she released her own version of the song late last year, it hit #6 on the dance charts — and taught a legion of clubgoers what many already knew: "seduction is at the thigh," but "the heel is the transmission." But despite such campy subject matter, Lauper says Kinky Boots isn't all about kicks and kikis. "This story is not about a drag queen," she said. "That's incidental. What this story is about is working with people who are totally different from you and overcoming your differences to create the greater good. I think that was very compelling to me.” Kinky Boots officially opens on April 4; preview performances began on March 3. For our full interview with Lauper, view the video above.
