The Dallas star — who’s been engaged to actress Cara Santana for over a year – certainly looks to be ready to settle down, recently purchasing a luxurious Spanish-style house in the Hollywood Hills for $1,432,500, according to property records.
Originally built in 1925, the beautifully restored mansion measures 2,362 square feet and boasts five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The home also boasts a newly-redone kitchen, grand fireplace in the living room, city views and a spacious courtyard. The master bedroom is attached to a new custom bathroom for the lovebirds to share, while hardwood floors run throughout the home. | Posted: 18 Mar 2013 02:50 PM PDT  Lil Wayne has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is said to be resting comfortably. Doctors have determined the 30-year-old, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., is in a stable condition, according to TMZ. “Wayne has been moved into a ‘regular room’ at the hospital and no longer needs intense, round-the-clock treatment after a suspected codeine overdose last week,” the site reported. Sources told the website that Wayne is walking around the hospital floor on his own and eating. He “could even be discharged from the hospital in the near future,” the site reported.
As Celebuzz previously reported, Lil Wayne was admitted to Cedars-Sinai and was released on Wednesday, but readmitted a few hours later after his bodyguard found him unconscious on the floor of his room. Hours after the news broke, his record label, Young Money Entertainment, issued a statement. "Lil Wayne is certainly OK at this moment and appreciates everyone's prayers and support, just as he posted via Twitter," a Young Money publicist confirmed to Celebuzz. CNN reports that a friend said Saturday night after visiting him: “He’s good, just resting.” |

| Posted: 18 Mar 2013 02:50 PM PDT  Lindsay Lohan has again avoided time behind bars. Just two weeks after trying to avoid another a rehabilitation stint, the actress has agreed to 90 days in a residential treatment as part of her plea deal with the prosecution in her California car-crash case. After arriving almost an hour late to her Monday morning hearing, Lohan pleaded no contest on two misdemeanor charges — reckless driving and lying to cops — in connection to her Pacific Coast Highway car accident last June. But instead of serving a jail sentence, Lohan’s probation has been extended two years. She will submit to lock down in a rehabilitation center, perform 30 days of community labor and undergo 18 months of psychotherapy, all of which she can complete in New York. As she has been seeking therapy already, Lohan will receive credit for time already completed. Throughout the two-year probation, Lohan must steer clear of drug, drug users, and willingly submit to drug testing. In addition to pleading no contest to the crimes, Lohan did not challenge the finding that she violated the probation stemming from her jewelry theft case. Though that violation carried a punishment of 180 days in jail, that sentence has been stayed, so long as Lohan continues to obey conditions of her probation and all laws. Lohan’s first compliance date is set for May 2, at which time the judge will require proof of enrollment in and a progress report from a rehabilitation facility. The actress is not required to appear in person for that hearing so long as she remains in compliance at that time. Should she somehow not meet the requirements, Lohan will be ordered to court. “Please take these conditions seriously,” Los Angeles Superior Judge James Dabney told Lohan. “This is it. You violate your probation, and we’re not going to have discussions of putting you back on probation. You need to comply.” Dabney also offered a “suggestion” to the defendant: “Don't drive,” he said. “You're in New York; you don't need to drive." After the sentencing was handed down, Michael Lohan supported his daughter returning to a rehabilitation facility. “I think Lindsay [needs] to go and just deal with some of her issues and I'm happy she is,” he told reporters of the star, who has spent 250 days in five rehab facilities since January 2007. “I think we can all agree that she's been around the wrong people, and I think by getting away she can get her life back on track.” While he was not opposed to the plea deal terms, Michael blasted his daughter’s attorney, Mark Heller, for how he handled the case proceedings. “This man will lose his license. I'm pursuing this with the New York State [Bar] Association,” Michael said, claiming Heller was simply trying to “cash in” Lohan’s notoriety. “It’s an open investigation. Mr. Heller can go on his little merry way now.” |

This time, the 19-year-old Canadian pop star has departed the most prestigious hotel in Paris under controversial circumstances — amid claims of bad behavior. Jean-Marc Morandini, a television and radio presenter in Paris, was first to report news of Bieber’s latest drama, revealing Bieber and his entourage had moved out of their seven suites, across two floors, at the Hotel Le Meurice, an historic institution in the French capital. “It was a decision taken by the management of the luxury hotel because of his attitude in the establishment and because of the nuisance caused by the presence of his fans around the buildings,” he wrote on his blog. But a rep for Bieber has denied he was kicked out of the hotel.
“He decided to transfer to the Mandarin Oriental when there wasn’t enough security at the hotel to control the crowds,” the rep insisted to Us. “There wasn’t even an underground entrance for him at the other hotel and the security was too lax given the size of the crowds. “Plus there was no garage,” the rep added. “(It was) very unsafe situation for Justin and the fans. Over 500 kids bombarded the hotel.” One source told Sky News that guests had complained that the noise had become “intolerable”. “There were kids everywhere screaming and shouting, and the other guests just didn’t like it,” said the insider. “Justin was clearly encouraging his fans – that’s something he has to do.” Rest assured, Beliebers: we’re told that Justin and his crew have found a new hotel, well in time for his scheduled performance at the Palais Omnisports in Paris-Bercy on Tuesday night. |
| Finally, Some Good News For Tom Posted: 18 Mar 2013 11:40 AM PDT  Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has scored a major legal victory after a Los Angeles judge tossed a lawsuit which alleged the actor hired a private eye-to-the-stars to spy on his ex-wife Nicole Kidman. Former tabloid magazine editor Michael Davis Sapir had sued 50-year-old Cruise for $5 million, alleging he maintained a "long-standing business relationship" with Anthony Pellicano, a crooked investigator who is now serving 15 years in prison for tapping the phones of Hollywood's rich and famous. On Monday, Los Angeles Superior Court Elihu Berle ruled that Sapir’s allegations failed to fall within the statute of limitations. What does that mean? Here’s the 411: A statute of limitations is a time period after an event that legal proceedings based on that event may be initiated. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Berle said Sapir should have investigated the Pellicano link in 2003, when he was sentenced to 30 months in prison. But he didn’t — and it took until December, 2009 to file suit. Unless Sapir appeals the ruling, the sensational claims against the Mission Impossible star will now not be tested in a court of law. That’s a major relief, no doubt, for Cruise, who has been battling backlash since he split from ex-wife Katie Holmes on June 28 last year.
As Celebuzz previously reported, the allegations against Cruise and and his lawyer, Bert Fields, were detailed in paperwork filed with the L.A. County Superior Court. "In or about the mid 1990s," Sapir claimed, "Cruise visited Pellicano's office for the purpose of listening to wiretaps." He alleged: "During the time Cruise was about to divorce Nicole Kidman, Pellicano recorded conversations of Kidman and Cruise. Pellicano discussed with at least one of his employees the substance of those recorded conversations."
Cruise, according to Sapir, had a "pattern and practice of hiring Pellicano, either directly or indirectly, for the express purpose of conducting wiretaps." He claimed Pellicano taped conversations between him and his attorney to gain an advantage for Cruise in slander litigation he’d filed, after the editor offered a $500,000 reward for evidence proving the Top Gun actor was gay. Cruise sat for a closely guarded deposition in the case before Christmas. |

Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn,” the golfing star wrote. “Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.” At the same time, the apline skier, 28, gushed on her official Facebook:

| ‘Dorrit Finds Her Little Romeo’ Posted: 18 Mar 2013 10:16 AM PDT  Dressed in black with heavy eye makeup, Carrie's (AnnaSophia Robb) little sister Dorrit on The CW's The Carrie Diaries would like you to believe she's unflappable. But, viewers love when the façade cracks, like when she receives tickets for The Nutcracker, or someone actually relates to her and sees beyond the walls she’s built up. So, fans of the show should be thrilled to hear that Dorrit will soon have her own love interest on the show. "Dorrit finds her little Romeo," Stefania Owen tells Celebuzz about her character. "So, it's not only Carrie and Sebastian, but it's also Dorrit and her love interest. So, I'm excited to see how that plays out because I haven't seen any of the scenes that we filmed. It's a surprise for the viewers." On Monday's episode, "The Long and Winding Road Not Taken," Carrie turns 17. And in Dorrit's search for the perfect gift, she finds something (well, someone) totally unexpected. "The boy isn't going to disappear like the hamster," Owen says of the romance's multiple episode story arc, though she wouldn't name who's playing Dorrit's love interest. Of course, The Carrie Diaries is all about a girl finding herself as much as it's about finding herself in the right relationship – much like HBO's Sex and The City. And up until now, the series has been all about establishing whether Sebastian (Austin Butler) is the right fit for Carrie. Owen definitely has her thoughts on that coupling. "It's hard because it's like [Sex and the City's] Carrie and Big," the 15-year-old tells us. "You want Carrie and Sebastian to be together, but you know that in the end something will happen that will break Carrie's heart. So, as much as you want Carrie and Sebastian to be together, you know that something's going to go wrong along the way. So, it's really hard." "But I have to say, I do love Carrie and Sebastian when they're together," she weighs in. Owen's short resume includes some pretty big projects, including the critically loved film, The Lovely Bones. And even though she starred alongside Will Arnett and Keri Russell on the short-lived FOX comedy, Running Wilde, that experience doesn't make the idea of cancelation any easier. "That part about the job is really hard, especially cause we live in New Zealand," Owen says. "So, we live quite far away so it's a big deal to be here and do to this. So, it's hard to say goodbye when you don't know for how long. But, I think the energy is really positive, whether it goes or not, all of us are going to see each other again. Everyone is so close, which is really, really great. And we're just hoping for the best, fingers crossed." Owen says that The CW should announce their decision in May. "So all of us are just waiting until then," she says. "It's positive, but we don't know for sure." The Carrie Diaries airs Mondays at 8PM on The CW. The revelation came when the House of Lies star was spotted at upscale framing store Sherman McNulty in West Hollywood. "When she picked up a picture frame for her baby, she told the assistant, 'It's for Kristen Shepard,’" an insider tells Celebuzz.
Interestingly, the actress once told The Advocate that she and Shepard were reluctant to tie the knot. "The reason we're not rushing to get married is because I don't feel appropriate taking advantage of a right that's denied to my [gay and lesbian] friends. That's why we've been so hesitant, " she said. "Dax and I have talked about it a lot, and this issue is very important to both of us. We're just standing up for what we believe in. Period." So has the mommy-to-be had a change of heart? Sure sounds like it. In the meantime, she’s busy enjoying her pregnancy. "She’s really pregnant now but was in good spirits," said the insider. | There’s Even More To JT’s ’20/20 Experience’ Posted: 18 Mar 2013 10:02 AM PDT  Justin Timberlake‘s 20/20 vision is finally coming into full focus. After a nearly seven-year hiatus from the recording studio, Timberlake will hit shelves with his highly-anticipated music comeback, The 20/20 Experience, on Tuesday. But fans won’t have to wait with baited breath for its follow-up — because there’s already talk of Timberlake preparing to drop another album before the end of the year. The news was leaked by Roots drummer Questlove, who brought his turntable prowess to Timberlake’s club jam session at South by Southwest on Saturday night, where he helped close the Austin, Tex., festival by turning up the 700-plus crowd backed by his Tennessee Kids band. “spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov,” Quest said in an Okayplayer chat board postingover the weekend. “(10 songs now . . . 10 songs later= 20 vision)…. He played me songs out of order and off both records so i don’t know what made the final cut.” Just how would Questlove know about Timberlake’s music-making? Well, he just spent a week working with Timberlake as the “Suit & Tie” singer took over Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where Quest’s band, The Roots, serve as the house band. Though the 20/20 Experience will come out this week, Timberlake gave fans an early listen to the album by streaming it on iTunes ahead of its March 19 release. In the follow-up to his classic FutureSex/LoveSounds, the Grammy-winning singer almost abandons the instantly-gratifying pop of his “SexyBack” past. The new release, which has earned raves from critics, emphasizes sprawling sets, explores genre-bending beats with R&B and soul tinges, and employs a modern twist on old-school sounds. Revving up to his musical return, Timberlake has been hitting the publicity trail hard, from hitting the stage at the 2013 Grammy Awards, performing during Super Bowl weekend, to doing double duty on Saturday Night Live, to appearing all-week-long on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. It feels like it has been ages since we’ve last visited the hallowed halls of Palos Hills High School, doesn’t it? Well, the wait is almost over for the return of the hit MTV show. Awkward returns for Season 3 on Tuesday, April 16 at 10PM and Celebuzz has the first new trailer. And don’t forget, MTV renewed the show for a supersized 20-episode season — nearly double its previous seasons. The Season 2 finale of the show gave us the long-awaited closure of Jenna’s (Ashley Rickards) love triangle between Jake (Brett Davern) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff) when she finally chooses Matty and makes him her official, public, sole boyfriend. However, the ending of the episode showed a cliffhanger and a glimpse of what’s to come on Season 3 when Jenna hinted at a feeling of regret over her decision. That was back in October. So, we’ve had plenty of time to wonder about what new hijinks are in store for Jenna and the whole Palos Hills student body. Did Jenna make a mistake choosing Matty? | Wait, THEY Did A Duet Together? Posted: 18 Mar 2013 02:50 PM PDT  Justin Timberlake may be riding high off the success of his collaboration with Jay-Z these days. But not all of JT's past duets have been as stellar as "Suit and Tie." Take his collaboration with HOVA's wife Beyonce. "Until the End of Time" performed fairly well on the radio and held steady on charts around the world in 2007. But the track was the JT's sixth single off FutureSex/LoveSounds, released well after his megahits "SexyBack," "My Love" and "What Goes Around… Comes Around." Timberlake's "4 Minutes" was Madonna was also disappointing. While the single received two Grammy nominations and topped charts everywhere but the U.S., there was just way too much going on in 240 seconds, regardless of how convincing the duo was in asking everyone to "grab a boy, grab a girl." Celebuzz isn’t picking on just JT. Here are some other disappointing — and forgotten — collaborations of recent memory.
Hilary and Haylie Duff: "Our Lips Are Sealed" (2004) — the Duff sisters covered this classic for Hilary's modern fairytale movie A Cinderella Story. While the film did wonders for Duff's career, the song failed commercially. Madonna and Prince: "Love Song" (1988) – Before their infamous feud (she called him a "little troll," he said he had more hits), the Material Girl and Prince once collaborated on a song called "Love Song." How appropriate: the singers dated for a brief time in 1985. Busta Rhymes and Mariah Carey: "I Know What You Want" (2003) – Mimi’s collaboration with Busta was anything but a collaboration. With just hints of her signature voice, the song made Carey sound more like a backup singer than a featured guest.
