The actor — turned Internet meme, turned do-gooder — has announced he needs time away from himself, which is part of the reason he is pressing pause on the whole thespian thing. “I’ve been doing it too much. I’ve lost perspective on what I’m doing,” he told the Associated Press while promoting his latest flick, The Place Beyond The Pines. “I think it’s good for me to take a break and reassess why I’m doing it and how I’m doing it. And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. “I need a break from myself,” he modestly added, “as much as I imagine the audience does.” The Oscar-nominated Gosling, 32, hammered home his point in another interview. “I just need a little break from myself,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “I got into the habit of just having a lot of options, and then suddenly getting option anxiety, and I need to get a little distance and give myself and the audience a little break.” But the big screen heartthrob isn’t entirely saying goodbye to Hollywood. As he steps away from acting, he moves behind the camera for his directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster, which will begin shooting this spring. Now as the Gosling Nation mourns the loss of its leading man — for now — Celebuzz is looking toward the light at the end of tunnel. | 6 Things To Expect From ‘The Voice’ Season 4 Posted: 21 Mar 2013 01:42 PM PDT  No matter how much NBC's The Voice tries to keep the attention on its contenders, the quarreling coaches and their swinging red chairs have always attracted much of the attention. So clearly when Season 4 returns on Monday, viewers will be most excited to see what the dynamic is like sans original coaches Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green. R&B star Usher and Latin pop crossover singer Shakira fill the empty seats and the chemistry between them and returning coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton was bound to change things up. But with viewers having to deal with new coaches, show producers are otherwise keeping the show's format unchanged. "America loves the turning chair and the storytelling's rich and the banter with the chemistry is great," host and executive producer Carson Daly says. "It was the torso of the show's format to which we added 'The Steal.' That was what we thought was a great addition to the show," he continued. "Season 3 we felt was just perfection, format-wise, you know? The numbers were just great." NBC held a press screening of Monday's two-hour season premiere and we got to see just how the dynamics changed and what stays the same. Here's a sneak peek of what to expect this season. 1. Plenty of the ol' switcheroo. It's really what makes the blind auditions so great: The voice doesn't always match our expectations of who that voice belongs to. A guy sings Whitney Houston better than many women we've heard. A young singer-songwriter does an amazing stripped down version of a pop dance hit. And a teen girl doing her first big professional performance amazes with a voice and confidence beyond her years. 2. Usher is quick on the draw. It doesn't take long before the baby-faced singer knows what he wants. More often than not, he spins his chair within the first few notes of a performance. 3. Shakira is a much more careful judge – almost to a fault. Unlike Usher, the Latin musicianista takes a much more measured approach before turning her chair around. There are multiple times in which one can see that Shakira is just about ready to pounce and then the song ends before she’s able to chime in. 4. The intangible things matter to Shakira. The Latin pop singer tends to lean on emotions more than her resume. She'll speak about having faith or "injecting" her own confidence into a singer if they pick her for their coach. 5. When the cards are all dealt, Usher pulls out the charm. Adam has some competition for the show's biggest flirt. Aside from his sexy one leg up on his chair position, Usher can resort to flirting if he thinks that will sway a female performer to pick his team — that and throwing around that he was part of the hit team behind Justin Bieber. 6. Adam seems to be a target. The one-time winning coach (Season 1 with Javier Colon) is really fielding attacks from all sides. And Blake (a two-time winner) is definitely helping newbies Usher and Shakira beat Adam to performers whenever he can. The Voice premieres Monday at 8PM on NBC. At least, that’s what Saoirse Ronan says. The Host star tells CB! that she became very close with co-stars Max Irons (Jared Howe) and Jake Abel (Ian O’Shea), who play her onscreen love interests, while filming the sci-fi flick in New Mexico. “There was nobody there!” Ronan said at The Host‘s Hollywood premiere Tuesday. “There was a Navajo tribe there though in New Mexico who were lovely to us, but we did kind of become like a family.” “I think if the film’s going well and it’s a nice atmosphere, usually you do anyway. You’re kind of sucked into this bubble,” she added.
“We had a lot of intimate scenes that we did become quite close.” In fact, the tight-knit trio is something that co-star Diane Kruger, who plays Ronan’s big screen nemesis, missed out on during her scenes — despite being able to drive around in chromed-out cars and hitch a ride in helicopters. “Well, I didn’t get to make out with Max or Jake, so I get the second best gig,” she tells us. | It’s Official: Harry Was ‘Trouble’ For Taylor Posted: 21 Mar 2013 12:23 PM PDT  Taylor Swift knew ex-beau Harry Styles was trouble from the moment that he walked in. After much speculation, Swift, 23, has confirmed that the One Direction singer is the subject of her breakup single, “I Knew You Were Trouble.” In an interview with The Times of London magazine, the country crooner explained that she had channeled her pent up emotions from the headline-making breakup into her performance of the song at this year’s BRIT Awards, where Styles, 19, also made an appearance. “It’s not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is about is standing by the side of the stage watching,” she told the publication.
“You’re balancing the analytical side of your brain, which is telling you where to go and how to go there,” Swift continued about performing the song. “With the other side of your brain, which is saying, ‘Feel everything you’re singing, and show it on your face. Feel everything exactly as you felt it when you wrote the song.’” Though the former young loves didn’t quite have a run-in at the awards ceremony, Styles did comment about seeing Swift for the first time since the split. "I thought her performance was really good — she looked great," he told The Daily Mail. So nice, that just before a show in New York City last year, the young singers called for medical help after their biggest fan from New Zealand suffered an asthma attack during a meet-and-greet. The only problem was the fan wasn't really from New Zealand. And he wasn't really their biggest fan. The hyperventilating man was actually Declan Donnelly of the UK comedy duo and frequent pranksters Ant & Dec. Anthony McPartlin played a TV host from New Zealand, giving plenty of good excuses for the whole thing to be filmed. "I introduced him to the group — and the meeting didn't go as planned. But they fell for it," McPartlin told The Daily Mirror this week.
"On the 1D tour they met two fans from every nation. We heard the only two who didn't go were from New Zealand and thought, 'This is our way in,'" Donnelly explained to The Daily Mirror. "We were all over them." The prank will air on the duo's variety program Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend on ITV.

Celebuzz has exclusive photos of the two keeping the love alive, despite the fact that they live in an abandoned prison surrounded by undead and unwelcome intruders. If you thought being held hostage in Woodbury was going to be the end of this couple, you thought wrong. These new photos tell a different story. At the show’s recent PaleyFest panel, CB! asked Yeun about what we can expect from Glenn and Maggie and he was pretty confident in his response. "I think you can't keep a love like that down," said Yeun. He wasn’t kidding. In the first photo from Sunday’s episode, “The Sorrowful Life,” above, you get a closeup of Glenn looking very serious as Maggie stands close to her zombie killer boyfriend. The second photo proves that Yeun was right, Glenn and Maggie are tightly locked in a kiss. But could it be a goodbye kiss? According to the episode description, “Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the group are faced with a serious problem. If they want a truce with the Governor, they will have to make a huge sacrifice.” The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9PM on AMC. |

While she won't have a seat on the upcoming season of The Voice's judging panel, Christina Aguilera still showed some love for the NBC show's Hollywood premiere on Wednesday night. The 32-year-old turned heads with her surprise red carpet appearance, but most of the attention was directed at her stunningly slimmer figure and fresh-faced look. Aguilera, who announced her departure from the show last summer to focus on her music, donned a black-and-white dress and Christian Louboutin heels.
"Had a blast surprising @UsherRaymondIV @blakeshelton and @CarsonDaly at premiere screening of #TheVoice tonight. xo," the star wrote on Twitter following the event, referring to The Voice newcomer Usher, veteran Blake Shelton and host Carson Daly. Fellow new judge Shakira and the returning Adam Levine were absent from the event. On the red carpet, Aguilera remained mum on whether or not she'll return to the popular NBC series. "I can't say anything right now. I can only do what feels right for me in the moment and right now what's important for me, and this is why I love the show, and why I'm coming back in support," she said. | Lilo’s Assistant Says Tampering Never Happened Posted: 21 Mar 2013 12:23 PM PDT  Gavin Doyle, the reported assistant of Lindsay Lohan, plans to meet with the district attorney this week to answer questions about being asked to lie under oath by the actress’ lawyer. “The DA has called me multiple times and I have not returned calls yet,” he exclusively told Celebuzz of the witness tampering allegations surrounding attorney Mark Heller. “They want me to come in. I'm going to have to before I leave for New York next week, so I'm planning on meeting them on Friday.” Heller has been accused of trying to coerce Doyle into saying he was the one behind the wheel of Lohan's Porsche when it crashed into a dump truck on the Pacific Coast Highway last summer. The accident was at the heart of the three misdemeanor charges that Lohan faced in the Los Angeles, Calif., courthouse on Monday.
"I had no idea where all that came from. That never happened," Doyle told us. "[Heller] never came to me. I never met Mark Heller until Monday in court. "I heard that [Lindsay's father] Michael was saying we met in New York, and that all came out of the blue. He never spoke to me." Doyle, who in fact insists he’s not Lohan's assistant, said there's only one thing to say to prosecutors: "There's nothing more to it than I'm just going to say no. I'm not going to lie. Lindsay and I have been through a lot. I know how this stuff goes.” Answering questions about Lohan is nothing new for Doyle: he was asked to testify in the summer car crash case after Lohan was accused of lying to police. At the time, she said she was not behind the wheel of the Porsche. "It was hard for me because I was subpoenaed and they wanted me to testify. And Lindsay and I have such a long history,” he said. "I wouldn't have had bad things to say, but they would have asked me questions that I think would not have helped her case.” How so? "She was driving and I was the passenger,” Doyle admitted. “I thought they'd use my testimony as her nail in the coffin. I thought they'd charge her with whatever they wanted." So why did Lohan lie? "I think it was just fear. It wasn't that she wanted to hide something. Neither one of us was supposed to drive during Liz & Dick — the studios just try to protect the talent." Right now, Doyle is simply sticking by his BFF, who was ordered to attend 90 days in a locked-down rehab facility within the next 45 days after pleading no contest to two misdemeanor charges. "She's okay. I think she's happy with the sentence. She's on the right track,” Doyle said. "She's completely accepted it, she's not angry at all. She's happy with the way the court treated her this time. She's relaxing now and trying to stay focused." But the Young Money raptress revealed more than she hoped while shooting the music video for her latest collaboration with Lil Wayne, “High School.” In new behind-the-scenes footage from the sunny Los Angeles, Calif., set — where the rappers filmed in early March — Minaj confidently flaunts her curves in a low-cut bathing suit. The American Idol judge hops into the jacuzzi, gushing that “it feels good.” But as she begins to strike seductive poses in the bubbling water, Minaj suffers a double nip slip, as the bright-yellow bathing suit gives way to her assets. This certainly isn’t the first time that Minaj, 30, has made her curves the center of attention on camera. Just last month, she donned nothing but star-shaped pasties on her bosom while shooting the music video for "Freaks," her collaboration with rapper French Montana off his upcoming album, Excuse My French. And back in 2012, Minaj caused quite a splash when she unveiled her music video for "Starships," in which she was seen rolling around in the sand in a barely-there hot pink two piece. Even off when she’s not filming, the “Va Va Voom” singer leaves little to the imagination with her skin-baring outfits, be it at perfume launch events or press conferences, to on-stage performances or even strolls on the streets. Available in May, the collection will have the Single Ladies singer appearing in television and print ads, as well as outdoor billboards that will introduce “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M.” “I've always liked H&M's focus on fun and affordable fashion,” Beyonce said in a press release Thursday. “I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”
The timing of the collection couldn’t be better for the singer — her worldwide tour, The Mrs. Carter Show, kicks off April 15. Over the weekend, Beyonce released a preview of two new tracks — “Bow Down” and “I Been On,” respectively — that will presumably appear on her upcoming album. (Click here to listen to the snippets.)
