| What It’s REALLY Like To Work With Giuliana Rancic Posted: 28 Mar 2013 12:01 PM PDT  Terrence J. is still the “new guy.” Since joining E! News last fall, the former BET star (full name: Terrence Jenkins) has stood alongside Giuliana Rancic to deliver nightly doses of the hottest headlines in Hollywood and beyond. But what is Rancic really like when the cameras aren’t rolling? "You never know what to expect when you're working with someone, especially when you're working with someone established and you're the new guy," Jenkins told Celebuzz as he played host to the Share, Love and Celebrate the Best of P&G Influencer Event in NYC. "But her humility, her graciousness on and off camera — she’s a class act. She's amazing." Compliments aside, Jenkins did dish on how Rancic’s son Edward Duke, seven months, has been slowly taking over the show.
"The baby has been in two or three times . . . I actually got to hold him. He's a bigger star than I am — I think he's got more Twitter followers than me," Jenkins said in between touting a slew of P&G's award-winning products, including homecare brands like Cascade, Dawn, Tide, Olay, Febreze, Gillette and CoverGirl. The 30-year-old, who spent some six years on BET's 106 & Park, took over for Ryan Seacrest on the popular E! show in September. Seacrest still serves as a correspondent and managing editor. "Ryan is dope,” Jenkins said. “He's an absolute beast at what he does. He's so focused and is very methodical. And to be around that type of energy, it's very humbling and very inspiring at the same time.” And while there aren't any divas on the show, Jenkins did reveal who the bigger star is — literally — when it comes to Seacrest or Rancic. Now he’s putting his penchant for spray-painting to good use. Brown joined children in Miami, Fla., on Wednesday to create a graffiti-inspired mural, all for Symphonic Love Foundation Global Best Buddies Day, which raises charitable funds to aid youngsters with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dressed in a white tee, denim and a backwards cap, the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer teamed with world-famous artist Romero Britto, wielding cans of spray paint to craft a skeleton cowboy and cartoon horse on the side of a building, which The Sun reports is Britto’s studio. Apart from the mural, Brown splashed his creativity on canvases, painting creations that will be sold for charitable proceeds. Though it departs from his bad-boy image, the volunteer day falls in line with Brown’s desire to reach younger generations through his work. “I still love music, but I think we’re at a place where there’s no substance sometimes to our music, including mine too,” he told Billboard, discussing his upcoming album, X, which is due out in late August or early September. “There needs to be more subject matter, more of a message in music,” he explained. “And we need to be able to inspire the youth. If youth doesn’t have anything to look up to or forward to, they just run rampant. While at Celebuzz‘s Hollywood studio last month, the Snooki & JWoww star told us that the “Firework” songstress needed “to find a good guy” and — more importantly — Mayer’s “bad boy” reputation may put the couple’s relationship in jeopardy. “I feel like Katy is still vulnerable from her divorce from Russell Brand,” Snooki, 25, said. “I feel like she’s still hurting because they were in love with each other, and now they basically hate each other.” “You obviously don’t get over those feelings that quick, so I feel like she’s moving in a little too quick with John Mayer.” The musical duo split earlier in March after almost one year since romance rumors first surfaced. Perry, 28, went public with Mayer, 35, shortly after her divorce with Brand was finalized in February 2012. The pair had briefly split in August that year before reconciling weeks later. The groom was Horan's older brother Greg, who wed Denise Kelly at St. Michael's Church in Castletown Geoghegan in County Westmeath, Ireland. The younger Horan, 19, matched his brother's grey three-piece suit, boutonniere and striped tie for the big day. According to The Daily Mail, One Direction fans greeted the wedding party when they arrived outside the church.
Following the ceremony, the "Kiss You" singer was spotted signing autographs and meeting with fans, including some that were all bundled up for the winter weather. The boys from One Direction are currently on a short break from their world tour. Posted: 27 Mar 2013 05:42 PM PDT  Backstreet Boy Nick Carter recently popped the question to longtime girlfriend Lauren Kitt, and we all know before any bride walks down the aisle comes the pre-wedding shape-up. The 29-year-old fitness expert already has the perfect hubby-to-be, the dazzling 7-carat diamond sparkler — and with the white dress yet to be picked out, Kitt tells Celebuzz how she plans to achieve her wedding weight loss goals in the next 30 days. "I've set some new goals to fine tune my body into the best shape ever," Kitt told CB! exclusively, "so that I can look and feel fantastic for my wedding!" Try Kitt’s tips on for size:
1. Set Some Goals: Write down a weight you want to be at by your wedding date and give yourself a reasonable timeline to get there. Look at your goals daily to keep you on track and motivated. 2. No Alcohol or Sugary Drinks: Stop drinking until your wedding day… and that includes soda! 3. Drink More H20: Up your water intake to a 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon of water a day. This will help flush out fat and toxins and what you put in your body must come out so you will drop unwanted water weight. 4. Cut Out Bad Sugars and Carbs:No white starches or sugars. Replace bad sugar with Stevia. Replace bad carbs with complex carbs like sweet potatoes, Ezekiel bread or brown rice. 5. Eat More Veggies: Incorporate more green veggies into your diet like steamed asparagus (which is a natural diuretic), kale, zucchini and spinach. 6. No More Dairy: Stop eating dairy for 30 days and see what a difference it will make in your body. Replace milk with almond milk and cheese with cheese alternatives like Daiya or almond cheese. 7. Fast Cardio:Try and do at least 30 minutes of high intensity interval training cardio on an empty stomach 5 days a week. For example, with any cardio machine do 1 minute average effort followed by 30 seconds of all out effort. Repeat that until you have reached at least 30 minutes. 8. Add Weight Training: Work with a trainer or try a class that uses weights. Start lifting light weights with fast-paced reps. For example, with 8-pound weights do 4 sets of 20 reps in bicep curls. 9. Supplementation: Start taking Glutamine and Branched Chain Amino Acid to help with soreness and recovery. Try a fat burner like Fit Miss Burn to help with cravings, focus and energy! 10. Being pregnant I don’t like any of it,” the E! reality star recently told Extra of her mommy-to-be diet. ”I’m waiting for the moments when someone is like, ‘Go to McDonald’s and Taco Bell.’ That’s not happening for me, and I’m kind of sad about it.” Now Kardashian — who is expecting her first child with beau Kanye West — is eating her words after falling victim to a hankering for In-N-Out Burger. “Damn!!! I spoke too soon! My 1st pregnancy craving! #InNOut #EnjoyingEveryBite,” she wrote on Twitter Wednesday, sharing a snap of her burger and cheese-covered fries from the famed fast-food joint. Since taking her pregnancy public around the New Year, Kardashian has worked hard to keep her weight in check, sticking with her sweat sessions and a well-balanced diet. “All I eat is carrots, and celery, and ranch, and like protein bars, gluten-free stuff, sugar-free stuff,” she said. “At the beginning it was tough for me when your body changes so much… but once you kind of grasp that and embrace it, it’s amazing.” Nevertheless, the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star, 32, has been blasting by tabloids for saying she’s put on major pregnancy pounds. Singer John Mayer, who’s been plagued with a serious throat condition since 2011, admitted to injecting the substance into his throat as a way to avoid further vocal surgery. The 35-year-old underwent two operations — once in October 2011 and another in August 2012 — prior to receiving the treatment. “I probably had contiguously three, maybe four months of not saying a word,” Mayer said of the experience in the latest issue of Billboard magazine. “The endurance was tough for me, but I started a new life. It’s hard to believe that I’m healed, but just to make sure, I keep going back every two weeks for a look, and it’s the same — if not better.” According to the his longtime manager, Michael McDonald, Mayer had 17 units of Botox initially before being pumped with more after the doctor saw good results.
“John and I went to see him together,” McDonald recalled of the initial meeting. “Dr. [Gerald] Berke said, ‘I think I can do this without surgery. In Boston, you were given one unit of Botox. I’m going to give you 17 units to really shut down your vocal cords and let them heal. I’m going to do it now — I’ll go right through into his neck.’ “I asked him to leave the room and give us a minute. John and I looked at each other, and we both agreed we had nothing to lose,” he added. But Botox cures more than just Mayer’s ailment. Here are 5 more surprising uses: 1. Treatment for Severe Sweating The Food and Drug Association has approved Botox to combat axillary hyperhidrosis — or severe underarm sweating. A fine needle is injected just under the skin where the sweat glands rest and comes with a hefty price tag. The treatment can cost around $1,000. 2. Treatment for Migraines Doctors are still uncertain as to exactly how Botox injections ease migraines, but patients who’ve received treatments — injections into around the temples, forehead, neck and shoulders — say it really does work to ease the pain. 3. Preventing a “Gummy” Smile Those who don’t want to show too much gum line when showing off those pearly whites can use Botox injections to weaken the upper lip’s retractor muscles so that it won’t raise as high, giving the patient a more balanced smile. 4. Breast Lift Yes, breasts can get perkier without actually going under the knife. Botox is injected into the pectoralis minor muscle, which is responsible for making you stoop forward with shoulders down and hunched forward, and pulls the shoulders up to create a “lifted” look. Unlike an actual boob job, the procedure is temporary and only lasts four months. 5. Hair Rejuvenation Los Angeles-based surgeon Dr. Simon Ourian discovered that injecting Botox into the scalp actually helps stimulate hair growth after performing the procedure on his cancer-ridden mother, who had lost all her hair from chemotherapy.
