Before the red carpets, big screen roles and seven-figure salaries, movie stars started out as ordinary people.

And this year’s batch of Academy Award nominees are no exception. Sure, after decades in the spotlight, A-list acting nominees like Robert De Niro, Sally Field and Denzel Washington are so recognizable that they might stop traffic a mile away.

But before bursting onto the scene, their now-famous mugs would have blended right in with a crowd on Hollywood Boulevard.

So as the countdown to the Oscars ceremony (five weeks!) continues, Celebuzz takes a trip back in time to see what this year’s crop of nominees looked like before they hit the big time.

Was Tommy Lee Jones just as distinguished decades before Lincoln? Was Jennifer Lawrence already breaking hearts as a pre-teen? Did Anne Hathaway always have her movie star good looks?

For a blast from the past, take a gander at the gallery and see if you can guess the Oscar nominee from their pre-fame photos.

After several days of teasing fans with a countdown video and clock on his website, Justin Timberlake finally made things official with the release of  "Suit & Tie."

The song, featuring Jay-Z, is the first single off of JT’s third studio album, The 20/20 Experience, the former boy band member announced in a letter to his fans.

Earlier in the week, Taylor Swift turned heads at the Golden Globe Awards red carpet, donning a revealing dark plum Donna Karan Atelier.

But that was pretty much all the attention the country cutie got that evening — Swift lost the Best Original Song trophy to Adele, who won for "Skyfall."

In other music news, Destiny's Child fans around the world rejoiced this week as the group announced their big Super Bowl plans.

‘Mama’: Jessica Chastain Carries This Chilling Ghost Story (MOVIE REVIEW)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 11:56 AM PST

After her breakthrough portrayal last year as the saintly mother in The Tree Of Life, Jessica Chastain found herself inundated with screenplays offering similar roles. A contrarian by nature, she refused to be typecast, taking a starring role in Andres Muschietti's Mama, an uneven ghost story that relies heavily on cliche but features plenty of jolting scares before the end credits roll.

Chastain plays Annabel, a bassist in an unknown punk band who possesses about as much maternal instinct as Madea. Her artist boyfriend Lucas (Game of ThronesNikolaj Coster-Waldau) has a twin brother who, in the movie's opening sequence, murders his wife and takes his two small daughters on the lam. A car accident lands them in an abandoned cabin in a snowy forest where – about to dispense with his daughters and kill himself – he is murdered by a shadowy attacker, leaving the girls to fend for themselves.

Six years later they are discovered by a pair of trackers. Living in the forest has turned them into feral beasts barely resembling human children. But with some therapy they are made to seem almost normal, albeit eerily reticent and psychically removed. As such, they are remanded to Annabel and Lucas who are furnished a suburban home in which to raise them provided psychologist Dr. Dreyfuss (Daniel Kash) is given full access to the girls for study.

In time, it becomes clear how the girls survived on their own. “Mama,” the ghostly force that dispensed with their father years ago, has followed the children to the new house, clinging to them as if they were her own.

When an encounter with Mama leaves Lucas in a coma, Annabel is given full custody. Gradually the ghost makes her presence known in a way that provides Muschietti's debut film with its greatest strength. The filmmakers wisely keep Mama's ghostly visage hidden from the audience, gradually revealing their monster, as with the shark in Jaws, saving her till the end when we see her in her full glory.

Mama has been called a horror film, but it's a ghost story, relying primarily on atmosphere and less on shock and gore. Scene by scene, Muschietti builds tension, allowing us artful glimpses of Mama, most memorably when her shadow is spied through a bedroom door as she plays tug of war with one of the children. His ability to insinuate otherworldly threats is occasionally reminiscent of the Japanese tradition which gave us spooky classics like Ugetsu and Kuroneko and later The Ring, which Mama sometimes evokes.

Antonio Riestra's gloomy cinematography underscores the shadowy psychic landscape permeating the movie, and Michele Conroy's adept editing brings punch to Mama's scary sequences without overdoing it.

Unfortunately, Mama relies a bit too heavily on cliches such as creaky hinges and things that go bump in the night, as well as proliferating moths and faulty electricity auguring an otherworldly presence.

Fernando Velasquez's score frequently overwhelms scenes and cheap gimmicks like overly loud sound cues are employed to jolt the audience from time to time. But Mama's most glaring transgression is a script which allows the audience to stay well ahead of the characters. By the time Dr. Dreyfuss and Annabel begin to sense supernatural elements are at play, the audience is long since familiar with the threat.

Coming off her Golden Globe win and heading into the Oscars as a frontrunner, Chastain acquits herself well here, embodying Annabel with a naturalism that overrides occasionally clunky dialogue. Sporting an octopus tattoo and a black wig that suggests Liza Minnelli, she slips seamlessly into the role, serving the genre without ever condescending to it.

Joining her are little Megan Charpentier and Isabelle Nelisse who portray a pair of 'creepy kids' in a manner that is both convincing and free of cliche. But Coster-Waldau, as Lucas, cannot overcome the limits of his character as written.

If you find the shortcomings listed here outweigh Mama's considerable strengths, wait till the last act where the ghostly 19th century back story catches up to the present. Muschietti stages his finale on a moonlit cliff overlooking a lake where a knotty old tree casts a tortured shadow. In a final, climactic standoff, Muschietti combines genuine emotion with horror in an almost Burton-esque manner, elevating Mama to a level that starkly outdoes the rest of the movie.

If you are looking for blood and mayhem, you'll be better off checking out Texas Chainsaw 3-D. While Mama is occasionally hamstrung by cliches, it is a stylish and effective ghost story that lives up to its promise, delivering spine-tingling scares.

How eager are you to be scared by Mama? Watch the film’s theatrical trailer, and let us know what you thought of the movie in the comments below!

You Decide: Did Taylor Swift Get a Boob Job?

Taylor Swift raised eyebrows at the People's Choice Awards on Jan. 9 — but it wasn’t because of her white Ralph Lauren gown with a cleavage-baring neckline.

The revenge dress – she recently split with One Direction star Harry Styles — revealed more than just a little skin. Also on display: a suspicious mark under her breast that had some crying, “Boob job!”

In Touch magazine, for one, reported that the 23-year-old singer had a breast augmentation. The magazine even spoke to Dr. Michael Fiorillo, a NYC plastic surgeon who has not treated Swift. His take on the situation: "Scarring like this sometimes happens right after an augmentation."

But not everyone agrees.

Celebuzz spoke exclusively to Dr. John Diaz, a Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon and breast surgery specialist.

"I can see the unusual-shaped mark on the breast in the picture,” he said. “Based on the appearance of the shape and the location, it is unlikely a scar from surgery."

"If Taylor had breast surgery, you would see a scar directly on the areola, or you would see a linear horizontal scar along the bottom crease of her breast. Thus, it is almost certainly not a scar from any kind of breast surgery.”

So what caused the questionable mark? It could very well be a red carpet secret known as fashion tape. The tape is commonly used to secure scoop necks, plunging necklines and sexy halter styles — and prevent wardrobe malfunctions.

"It is probably tape to secure her dress to her breasts,” agreed Dr. Diaz, who also hasn’t treated Swift. “Sometimes B cup breasts can have a fuller appearance if a bra or fabric tape is used.”

Swift’s rep didn’t return calls for comment.

Do you think Taylor had a boob job, or is she still au naturale? Let us know in the comments section.

‘We Should Start Focusing on Michelle’: Alicia Keys Weighs In on Which Obama Should Sing on Inauguration Day

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 11:49 AM PST

Alicia Keys is expecting heavy duty vocal backup when she performs for Barack Obama on his presidential inauguration day, setting her eyes on the First Lady as her new singing partner.

“We should start focusing on Michelle,” Keys, 31, told Celebuzz during the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. “There’s enough of this [Barack] Obama singing thing. We need to really hone in on Michelle.”

“I think she’s really the voice of the family and we probably could maybe consider getting her to do some type of duet.”

However, Keys isn’t the only powerhouse voice who’ll be trying to get the Obamas to belt out a tune.

BeyonceKaty PerryJohn LegendUsherStevie Wonder and Kelly Clarkson are also set to hit the stage during festivities to mark Obama's inauguration in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20.

For now, Keys is busy promoting her film The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, of which she is an executive producer and set the score for the drama about inner city youths.

On Thursday night, Hennessy VS threw a bash to celebrate the singer and actress Jennifer Hudson, who starred in the film as Gloria.

“The reason I wanted to be involved in the piece — straight off the bat — was because the writing was so superb that it enveloped you,” Keys told us. “Even just reading the script, midway through it you’re laughing, you’re yelling…you’re just emotionally attached.”

Though Keys is living it up in the snowy slopes for the prestigious, her husband Swizz Beatz is out taking his father to A-list events around the globe — in which he endearingly documents on Instagram snapshots titled “I Can’t Take My Dad Nowhere.”

“Mostly I’m not there and I’m getting a phone like, ‘Babe, did you see the Instagram?” Keys told us. “It’s so fun for me too.”

Flashback Friday: Mark Wahlberg Shows His Rap Rhythm in ‘Good Vibrations’ (VIDEO)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 08:53 AM PST

Each decade has seen the rise and fall of transient trends and fleeting fads.

In the 90s, slap bracelets made a fashion statement, Tamagotchis exemplified why kids shouldn't have pets, Hanson caused MMMbop-loving tweens to go wild, and Beanie Babies ruled the world. But of all these novelties, few had the resilience to withstand the changing times like Marky Mark.

Today, you may know him as Mark Wahlberg– the outstandingly versatile screen star who can earn laughs hanging with a pot-smoking teddy in comedies like Ted or move the audience as a struggling boxer in hard-hitting dramas like The Fighter

His newest film, Broken City, stars Wahlberg as an ex-cop whose career was tarnished by a high-profile shooting, and left him with somewhat of a dirty reputation to proceed him. All is lost until New York's mayor (Russell Crowe) hires him to follow his wife, and a web of scandal begins to unfold.

Sounds like the perfect role for a very 2013 Wahlberg.

But lose the shirt and add some cool moves and you've got yourself the king of the Funky Bunch.

Hip-hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch rhymed and chimed their way to fame in 1991 with cool, clean raps, abs of steel and choreography that wouldn't quit. Their biggest hit, "Good Vibrations", climbed to #1 on the Billboard charts, was nominated for a number of MTV Video Music Awards, and was eventually retired into the unofficial archives of greatest ever 90's songs.

This success was largely due to the song's irrefutable catchiness, and a music video that had girls everywhere drooling. In this clip, a young Marky Mark spends most of the four minutes pumping iron and playing up his perfect physique—after all, these were the days of the Calvin Klein underwear ads—all the while spitting his rhymes.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang takes care of the "ooohs" and moves.

Check out the one and only Marky Mark running his raps in the clip above, and feel the vibrations!

And don't miss Mark Wahlberg in his newest role as Billy Taggart in Broken City, in theaters Friday.

Jennifer Hudson’s Wise Sundance Debut (PHOTOS)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 10:43 AM PST

Six years after winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Dreamgirls, Jennifer Hudson is still very much involved in the film industry.

This week, the 31-year-old singer and actress made her Sundance Film Festival debut, as one of the stars of The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, a coming-of-age film about two inner city children. Alicia Keys, who served as the movie’s executive producer, was also on hand for the premiere, as was Mister and Pete director George Tillman Jr.

Hudson, who stars as the mother of one of the kids, couldn't help but get personal at the film’s Park City, Utah premiere, presented by Hennessy VS.

"Walter, my assistant, we are Mister and Pete. We grew up together, we've known each other since the sixth grade," the 31-year-old told Celebuzz on Thursday night.

"The week I won my Oscar I made him my assistant because as kids, we were 11 years old . . . in choir together. He was my biggest,'" Hudson said of her friend, who was the driving force behind her American Idol auditions.

Speaking of Oscar, the mother-of-one had a few words of advice for Anne Hathaway, who is nominated in the same category Hudson won in 2007.

"Just get her acceptance speech together. I was watching the Golden Globes the other night, she won right? That's what happens. You gotta win the Golden Globe to get to the Oscar, that's the next step. And I was like, 'Oh, it's coming,'" Hudson said.

"But I think she's a pro. She's already ready."

Hudson also had some advice for the American Idol franchise, which suffered a huge dip in ratings with its Season 12 premiere earlier this week.

"Everything has its time. I think it should just allow itself to go out on top and gracefully," she said. "American Idol changed the face of television . . . and it's always been a phenomenon. I'm really proud to have come from American Idol, so I just say, go out on top."

Do you think 'American Idol' should quit while it's ahead? Weigh in below.

‘Mama’ Star and Oscar Nominee Jessica Chastain Says She Prefers Versatility to Maternity

Posted: 17 Jan 2013 05:16 PM PST

Jessica Chastain let a little casting news cat slip out of the bag at the Mama press conference last week. When asked what she's doing next, the newly minted Golden Globe winner said, "It hasn't been announced but it might be a Strindberg thing." When pressed if it was Miss Julie, a  project that Michelle Williams is reportedly attached to, she put her finger to her nose.

Meanwhile in Mama, a seriously spooky supernatural thriller, Chastain is barely recognizable as Annabel, a punk rocker who is faced with the challenge of helping to raise her boyfriend Lucas' (Nikolaj Coster-Waldou) young nieces — who were left alone in a forest for five years.

"The script was sent to me right after Tree of Life,” she said, referring to her breakthrough role opposite Brad Pittin which she played a beatific mother. “I kept getting sent scripts where I would be playing devoted wives and mothers and I realized there is typing in Hollywood."

Chastain certainly picked a role that is the polar opposite of a dutiful mother. As she explains Annabel is, "kind of a bitch, a bit unlikeable. In films we're not used to seeing heroes do unlikeable things, like that Annabel is irritated that her boyfriend putting his nieces before her, which I found a very human reaction — and also really immature.

“She is definitely a reluctant mother…But she grows,” she said. “I was really moved by her journey becoming a hero, becoming a selfless person."

The Zero Dark Thirty star prepared for the role by listening to a lot of Lou Reed and The Misfits, and even took bass lessons for about a month. (She admitted she was slightly miffed when director Andres Muschietti barely filmed her playing!)

Initially the 35-year-old actress tried to be slightly removed from her young charges, Megan Charpentier and Isabelle Neliss, wanting to replicate their onscreen relationship, but that didn't last long. Instead there were "a lot of dance parties in my trailer."

This is the second year in a row that the ginger beauty will be making the rounds on the awards circuit — last year was for The Help – and she seems remarkably comfortable with its often grueling schedule.

"It's so much fun," she said gleefully. "I'll take my grandmother as my date like I did last year. She's such a reminder to enjoy it and not take it seriously."

Chastain clearly does not like typecasting, "I want to do all kinds of films," she declared. "I want to do Westerns, musicals. As long as I play a woman that has an arc, something other than a male counterpoint, even if it's a small part.

"I don't want to make movies that says our purpose is to be a mother. I do hope to be a mother one day. But if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen."

What do you think of Chastain changing her look to be more punk-rock friendly? Watch the trailer for the film, and then let us know how eager — or reluctant, because it’s scary- looking — you are to see her latest.

Mark Wahlberg Talks ‘Ted 2′; Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Hercules’ Set for August Release

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 10:43 AM PST

On Thursday, Mark Wahlberg made Ted fans very happy. While promoting his new film, Broken City, the actor gave an update on the sequel to his hit 2012 comedy. Oscar host and Ted director Seth MacFarlane is currently writing the script for Ted 2, Wahlberg has signed his deal to reprise his role and the actor will next be seen presenting an award at this year's Oscars alongside the foul-mouthed, pot-smoking teddy bear. [Vulture]

Everything Brett Ratner touches turns to, well, a Brett Ratner movie. But we have high hopes for his Hercules movie starring Dwayne Johnson. Paramount will release the film, based on the graphic novel by Steve Moore, on August 8, 2014. [Deadline]

Liam Neeson has become a permanent action-movie fixture of late, and he shows no signs of stopping.

On Thursday, it was announced that the Taken 2 star has officially signed on for the lead role in Run All Night. Neeson will play an aging hitman who goes on the run with his young boy after taking down his former boss. Jaume Collet-Serra, the director of Neeson's upcoming thriller, Non-Stop, is in talks to helm the project. [Deadline]

Actor-director Mark Duplass had a crazy good 2012, with strong turns in the much-talked about Safety Not Guaranteed and Zero Dark Thirty. Now, Duplass' 2013 is off to a good start with Blumhouse Production's acquisition of his new film, Peachfuzz. The found-footage horror film, which centers on an average guy responding to a CraigsList ad and getting more than he bargained for, is one of the first major deals to come out of this year's Sundance. [Collider]

Hollywood's latest attempt to resuscitate the Terminator franchise has found two new writers. Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry) have, for better or worse, been hired to write a new script for Annapurna and Skydance Productions. The last time a new Terminator was in the works, Fast Five director Justin Lin and Arnold Schwarzenegger were attached. No word yet if Arnie will reprise his iconic role for this newest incarnation, but chances are good he'll be back (see what we did thar?) [Deadline]

Are you more excited for a new Terminator movie or for Ted 2? That's your cue to comment below. And speaking of Wahlberg, watch the trailer for Broken City on Celebuzz!

Duped by Doper? Insurance Company Plans $12M Lawsuit Against Lance Armstrong (EXCLUSIVE)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 11:39 AM PST

The lawyer who Lance Armstrong openly lied to about doping is planning to fight back — and reclaim a whopping $12 million — after the cyclist’s big confession to Oprah Winfrey on Thursday.

“We will sue to undo the previous arbitration to recover the money as soon as possible, and we will also make claims that Mr. Armstrong lied under oath,” Jeffrey Tillotson, who represents SCA Promotions, told Celebuzz exclusively.

Armstrong sued the Texas insurance company in 2004 when it withheld a $5 million bonus he’d been promised for winning his sixth Tour de France title. At the time, the firm didn’t want to pay the cyclist because a book alleged that he had used performance-enhancing drugs.

But in 2005, Armstrong sued the Texas insurance company for the cash –  and openly lied to Tillotson under oath during an arbitration hearing by claiming he never took illegal substances for his Tour de France victories in 2002, 2003 and 2004. SCA eventually paid Armstrong an estimated $12 million — $7.5 million in a 2006 settlement and $4.5 million for previous victories.

“This man is a liar, a bully and a cheat. We paid him this money, and it was a total falsehood,” Tilltoson said. “The legal profession is supposed to be based on people telling the truth. Well, this guy did not just run a red light, he lied in a cold and calculated way and even attacked my client for daring to challenge him.”

“Make no mistake: Lance Armstrong used his power and influence to bully people, and I am glad he did not get away with it.”

On Thursday, Armstrong finally came clean about his years of doping to Oprah Winfrey, in his first public interview since he was accused of running a “sophisticated” doping ring to secure his victories.

“I view this situation as one big lie that I repeated a lot of times,” he said in an interview that aired on Oprah’s Next Chapter.

He admitted that he doped in some form for each of his seven Tour de France victories, though he maintained that the last time that he “crossed that line” was in 2005.

But Dallas-based lawyer Tillotson did not believe the disgraced cyclist’s confession went far enough for victims like Betsy Andreu and her husband, Frankie Andreu, who was once part Armstrong’s Tour De France team.

“I took depositions from both Betsy and Frankie Andreu, and they were really pressured and bullied by Armstrong over the years,” revealed the lawyer. “For him to brush them off in the Oprah Winfrey interview by saying, ‘At least I did not call Betsy Andreu fat’ was very callous indeed.

“But that is Lance Armstrong. He is like a one-man wrecking machine who took on everyone as if they were all in the wrong. Both myself and my colleagues actually thought that the day would never come when he would be caught, but thankfully we were wrong, and that time has finally come.”

Selena Gomez Sheds Good Girl Image in ‘Nylon’ Magazine (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 01:00 PM PST

Selena Gomez is ready to break away from her sweetheart status.

The former Disney star seductively graced Nylon Magazine’s February issue, donning a black cap, blue basket weave basketball-inspired jersey by designer Jeremy Scott with an itsy-bitsy bikini underneath.

The 20-year-old starlet has grown accustomed to the comfort of a two-piece swimsuit. She did, after all, prance around in a skimpy bathing suit as she channeled her wild side for her upcoming flick Spring Breakers, also starring her close pals Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson.

“It was always us four girls. We’d go to our favorite restaurants, we’d go to the movies — Ashley and I saw The Hunger Games. We went shopping, we went on boat rides, we slept over in each other’s hotel rooms. It was really fun!” she told the magazine.

The actress-singer also opened up about her tight friendship with Taylor Swift.

“We both experienced the same things at the same time. But we've never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I'd go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It's so hard to trust girls, so I'm lucky to have her,” she explained.

In the rest of the photo shoot, Gomez flaunted her signature sweet style, playing it cool in a range of eye-catching ensembles, which included patterned jackets and a pale pink frock.

Despite her recent split with ex Justin Bieber, Gomez isn’t letting heartbreak stop her from having a little fun. Last Sunday, she took a glamorous turn in a shimmery gold Atelier Versace frock at the Golden Globes after parties, even reportedly sparking a new romance with Josh Hutcherson.

“I’m having fun,” she said about her love life. (via Us Weekly) “At the end of the day, love is such a normal thing, and everyone deals with it. Just because it’s a different lifestyle doesn’t change the meaning of what I’ve been raised on, which is fairy tales.”

What do you think of Selena’s edgier style and attitude? Sound off in the comments. Then, watch the trailer for her upcoming film Spring Breakers, below!

Why Rachel Zoe Wants to Help You Shop for Shoes (VIDEO)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 11:29 AM PST

It takes a lot for Rachel Zoe to pile another job on her already filled-to-the-brim plate. But when an opportunity really speaks to her, she’ll make room in her busy schedule, which includes designing her namesake fashion line, opening a new line of blowdry bars, consulting for a variety of fashion brands and dressing some of Hollywood’s hottest stars.

Her latest venture, signing on as Chief Stylist for ShoeDazzle was a no-brainer for the celebrity stylist, who admitted she “had a love affair” with the shoe company from the start.

“I like to do things based on a feeling, my gut, my instinct,” she told us at the ShoeDazzle headquarters in Los Angeles. “That’s how I know if I should become a part of something or not.”

Though she she’s dressed some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Anne Hathaway and Jessica Alba, Zoe jumped at the chance to help dress real women, with real budgets.

“[It] seemed like the perfect marriage,” the designer said of her decision to partner with the site that offers young fashionistas everywhere access to fashion-forward footwear without breaking the bank.

“It’s a dream to get into the minds of a lot of young women who shop the site and want to figure out a little more about their personal style, what’s for them, and what shoes are on trend,” she explained. “I’m there to tell them ‘okay, try this!’”

Sure, she may count high-end shoe designers like Christian Louboutin and Brian Atwood among her close friends, but Zoe hasn’t forgotten her budgeting fashion days.

“I wish I had ShoeDazzle when I was coming up in this business, because I wanted designer shoes but couldn’t afford them,” she recalled.

Watch the video to see what else Zoe had to say about her latest venture.

Kim Kardashian on Marrying Kris Humphries: ‘We All Make Mistakes’ (VIDEO)

Kanye West, 1. Kris Humphries, 0.

The rapper is a better partner for Kim Kardashian than her former husband, Brooklyn Nets basketballer Kris Humphries, according to sister Khloe.

"He is so much better than Humphries, like seriously, what a waste of your time," Khloe tells her sister, now pregnant, in one scene for the upcoming season of E!’s Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, to which Kim responds: "I know, we all make mistakes.”

Two days ago, the Kardashian sisters announced that they would unleash the first ten minutes of the new season of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami if their fans reach one million interactions about the series. They clearly succeeded, because on Thursday E! unveiled the clip.

What else does the preview show?

The clip focuses on the 32-year-old Kim’s 72 day marriage to Humphries, 27.

“I feel like it was a dream… I feel like it never really happened,” Khloe told Kim.

“A really expensive dream that won’t really leave me alone,” Kim responded.

The first episode also features the inevitable storyline: Kim focused on motherhood, after it was revealed in early January that she and West are expecting their first child.

After watching all of Kourtney’s responsibilities as a mother to her and Scott Disick‘s children Mason, 3, and Penelope, 6 months-old, Kim reflects on parenting.

"I’m overwhelmed just looking at all of this. Two babies running around spitting up, screaming. I mean it’s just, it's a lot,” she admitted. But that doesn’t stop her from filling with joy to play mommy to her new kitty, Mercy, that was a surprise gift from her rapper boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Khloe finds that she’s the only one without a baby, and this season will show the 28-year-old dealing with her fertility issues, as well as revamping the DASH Miami store with her sisters.

Kourtney and Kim Take Miami will have a two-day premiere: Sunday and Monday at 9PM on E!.

Watch the clip above to see a preview of the premiere, and take a look at the video below to see Kim and Kourtney in NYC during their promotional tour for their series.

Nothing But the Truth: Lance Armstrong Continues His Confession to Oprah (VIDEO)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 08:33 AM PST

After years of denying doping allegations, Lance Armstrong finally has all the answers.

The disgraced cyclist confessed to using “banned drugs and blood transfusions” in all of his seven Tour de France victories to Oprah Winfrey in an exclusive sit-down interview, which aired Thursday night on OWN. And in the second part of their chat, Armstrong continues his no-holds-barred revelations.

In a one-minute sneak peek, Winfrey grilled the 41-year-old (who began using performance-enhancing drugs in the mid-1990s) on his former sponsorship with Nike. The shoe and apparel company terminated its endorsement deal with Armstrong in October 2012.

“Nike called, they’re out,” he revealed about his sponsors, adding, “It was a $75 million day…gone.”

Armstrong went on to discuss the “most humbling moment” in his downfall: his disassociation with the Livestrong Foundation — a non-profit organization providing help with those diagnosed with cancer — revealing the exact details of his conversation with his former colleagues.

“We need you to consider stepping down for yourself,” he said they told him.

While the world may have turned against him, the father of five choked up about his lone supporter — 13-year-old son Luke.

“You heard that he was defending you. What did you say to him?” Winfrey asked as Armstrong was at a loss for words. Meanwhile, the former Olympian (his bronze medal was also stripped from his resume) revealed that his mother Linda is “a wreck.”

In Part 1, Armstrong admitted his “mythic, perfect story” was “one big lie” as he detailed his doping methods during his 2009 and 2010 comeback, hiding the truth in order to maintain the “momentum” of his fame.

The second part of the interview further delved into his future in cycling and his exact motives for speaking out.

“What do you say to the millions of people who are wearing Livestrong bracelets, to those millions of people who believed?” Winfrey asked.

Tune in for Armstrong’s shocking response in Part 2 of Winfrey’s interview at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.

Mane Attraction: Zayn Malik Debuts New ‘Do (PHOTO)

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 08:10 AM PST

Hair he comes!

Known for his ever-changing hairstyles, Zayn Malik ditched his signature, sky-high coiffe for a shaggier ‘do as he and his One Direction bandmates continued their promotional tour in Tokyo on Friday.

Malik’s cut features a fluffier, more disheveled style — a far departure from his perfectly coiffed locks from years’ past.

Never shying away from the styling chair, the Bradford, U.K., native is always willing to experiment with his dark black roots. Most recently, the 20-year-old added a bright blonde highlight to his former hair-raising hairdo before going in, dare we say it — a new direction.

Malik’s new look comes just in time for 1D’s upcoming Take Me Home tour, which officially kicks off with a pair of performances in Tokyo on Jan. 18 and 19. Before their much-anticipated concert, the fivesome gathered for a press conference on Friday to promote their latest album.

After arriving in Japan’s capital, the boy bander, along with Harry Styles, Niall HoranLouis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, greeted fans at the airport in traditional Japanese kimonos before taking in the city’s sights and sounds.

The boys’ trip also marked the start of filming their 3D documentary (directed by Morgan Spurlock), which hits theaters in February.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Dishes on Heavenly Run-In With Spielberg (EXCLUSIVE)

Posted: 17 Jan 2013 05:16 PM PST

Barbara Palvin Meets Steven Spielberg

Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin turned plenty of heads at the Golden Globes — and even caught the attention of none other than Steven Spielberg at a pre-show party.

"He asked me if I'm interested in acting," the 19-year-old gushed to Celebuzz at the InStyle Beauty Lounge in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Saturday. "For me, it's a weird question. I don't want to say 'Yes, yes! I want to be an actress,' because it's a bit pushy. So I was a bit embarrassed. I was like 'Yeah, of course — everyone is interested in acting and with modeling, I'm kind of acting.”

What else did the two chat about?

"I sang Hungarian folk music, so we talked about that,” Palvin, aka the new face of L’Oreal, said. “[I sang] from age seven to 13 — I started modeling when I was 13, so I stopped singing. He said those are the most beautiful songs and music.”

It wasn’t just the Globes pre-parties where Pavin made waves: she also turned heads on the red carpet for the awards show on Sunday night, thanks to a long pink Chanel dress and Chanel jewelry.

"Simple and casual,” she said of her attire. “It looks like a princess dress from the front, but the back is cut out, with a silver belt and bag."

The reason for her simplicity? Palvin — who was rumored to be dating Justin Bieber (she denied the romance exclusively to Celebuzz) wanted to look her age.

"I didn't want to pretend that I'm old and mature,” she said. “I'm 19, so this time, the youth part is the dress."

Do you think Palvin has what it takes to be an actress? Tell us your opinion in the comments section.

Lance Armstrong Admits Doping in Oprah Winfrey Interview

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 12:52 PM PST

Lance Armstrong and Oprah

After over a decade of adamant denials, Lance Armstrong finally came clean about using performance-enhancing drugs during his celebrated cycling career in a confessional interview with Oprah Winfrey.

"I view this situation as one big lie that I repeated a lot of times,” Armstrong said in the much-anticipated 90-minute broadcast on OWN Thursday night, in which he admitted unequivocally to drugging during his seven Tour de France wins. “I know the truth. The truth isn’t what was out there. The truth isn’t what I said. I’m a flawed character, as I well know. All the fault and all the blame here falls on me.”

Did he use the blood-enhancing hormone EPO? Testosterone? Cortisone? Human growth hormone? Illegal blood transfusions and other blood doping? Armstrong answered a simple “yes” to all, revealing it all began back in the mid-1990s.

"People who believed in me and believed me have every right to feel betrayed,” said Armstrong, formerly cycling’s most decorated champion. “I will spend the rest of my life trying to earn back trust and apologize to people.”

Armstrong’s confessions comes after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) released a damning 200-page report revealing Armstrong's deep involvement in the "most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen," USADA chief executive Travis Tygart said in a statement in October.

On the basis of the findings, the International Cycling Union (UCI) stripped Armstrong of his seven Tour titles and banned him from the sport for life back. "Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling," said the union's president, Pat McQuaid, according to CNN. Soon after, Armstrong stepped down as chairman of Livestrong, the cancer-fighting charity he founded 15 years ago, and lost longtime sponsors, like Nike.

Back in February 2012, the federal government dropped its criminal investigation into whether Armstrong committed fraud through his doping scheme. Though no explanation was provided, Armstrong saw it as a sign that he had finally won his years-long fight against such allegations. ”I thought I was out of the woods,” he told Winfrey.

But then the USADA continued to investigate the cyclist. “I’d do anything to go back to that day,” Armstrong said of the day USADA gave him the chance to come clean. “Because I wouldn’t fight, I wouldn’t sue them. I’d listen.”

Now the USADA feels Armstrong’s confession is a “small step in the right direction,” the agency said in a statement. “Tonight, Lance Armstrong finally acknowledged that his cycling career was built on a powerful combination of doping and deceit. His admission that he doped throughout his career is a small step in the right direction. But if he is sincere in his desire to correct his past mistakes, he will testify under oath about the full extent of his doping activities.”

Livestrong, the cancer-fighting charity Armstrong founded 15 years ago, said in a statement it was “disappointed by the news that Lance Armstrong misled people during and after his cycling career, including us. [But] even in the wake of our disappointment, we also express our gratitude to Lance as a survivor for the drive, devotion and spirit he brought to serving cancer patients and the entire cancer community.”

A second portion of the Armstrong-Winfrey interview will air on OWN Friday, Jan. 18, at 9 PM ET.
