RiRi (Almost) Slips Into Her Birthday Suit

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 01:06 PM PST

Rihanna is ringing in her 25th birthday the only way she knows how: in a bikini.

The “Stay” songstress — who’s is celebrating her b-day Wednesday — jetted off to Hawaii this week, and her bikini-filled vacation has been well documented by the pop star.

RiRi’s go-to photographer and BFF Melissa Forde recently shared a few snapshots of their wet and wild getaway, in which the Bajan beauty is seen smoking in (what else?) a skimpy two-piece.

“My b**** bad lookin like a bag o money,” Forde wrote alongside a photo of Rihanna pulling up her bikini bottoms.

Rihanna also gushed about her birthday online this Sunday.

After posting a photo of The Sunday Times cover comparing Rihanna to Princess Diana, the singer tweeted, “Just so happens I came home drunk to this in a pile of papers outside my hotel room! My lil Bajan behind, never thought these many people would even know my name, now it’s next to Princess Diana’s on the front of a newspaper!

“Life can be such a beautiful thing when you let it be #yourejealous,” she continued.

Launch the gallery above to see more of Rihanna’s sexy birthday snaps.

Movie Producers To Locals: We’ll Pay You $300 Not To Be ‘Friends’ With Jennifer Aniston

Posted: 19 Feb 2013 07:08 PM PST

Producers are handing out cash to keep locals away from Jennifer Aniston as she films her new movie in Standford, Conn.

"The production company has been paying all the neighbors $300, I guess as an inconvenience fee," local resident Leon Jaworoski told Celebuzz.

But the three hundred Benjamins aren’t just for the benefit of the residents: producers are clearly hoping the money will keep peace on the set of the flick, an adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel The Switch.

"We had asked if we could take pictures for fun because they are shooting right in front of our homes, but they said absolutely not,” Jaworoski said. “At one point paparazzi were on our lawn, but the police chased them away and told them to wait in their cars or off the property."

"It got pretty hectic here,” he added. “It took them several hours to set up a scene for only a few minutes of filming Jennifer on the street in the neighborhood.”

It’s not the first time the film’s crew has run into difficulties while shooting: since filming began in early February, they’ve struggled to keep both the paparazzi and locals away from 44-year-old Aniston.

Said a set insider: "Producers were upset that some locals were shouting out Jennifer's name and using flash photography to try and get pictures of her. They also found out that some paparazzi had paid a local resident to use their property to shoot Jennifer on the set. So when they moved to more rural location, they wanted to try and work with the local residents to make sure nothing like that happened again."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the production said: “Inconvenience fees are a common practice in the industry. Ours were paid to residents surrounding a shoot location so we could park equipment and trucks in their driveways or place lighting instruments and machinery on their property.”

The movie — set for release in 2014 — follows two career criminals who team up to kidnap the wife of a corrupt real estate developer. When their ransom demands backfire and the jilted housewife demands their assistance in seeking revenge, the two criminals must rethink their plan.

Along with Aniston, the Switch adaption stars Isla Fischer, Tim Robbins and rapper-turned-actor Mos Def.

Would $300 keep you away from Jennifer Aniston — or would you need to be paid a whole lot more to avoid from the A-list actress? Leave your comments below.

See Jessica Chastain — Before She Was Famous (EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS)

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 11:19 AM PST

Jessica Chastian

On Sunday evening, Zero Dark Thirty star Jessica Chastain will compete against Jennifer Lawrence, Emmanuelle Riva, Naomi Watts and Quvenzhane Wallis for the biggest accolade in Hollywood: the Academy Award for Best Actress.

But back in 1998, such accolades were just a dream for the then-20-year-old as she appeared in a San Francisco Bay area production of Romeo and Juliet.

"Jessica was a really talented actress in our production of Romeo and Juliet, and I had a feeling she would go on to have an amazing career even back then,” Theatreworks director Robert Kelley told Celebuzz.

Chastain played Juliet in the production opposite another aspiring young actor, Travis Engle. Set in war-torn Londonderry, Northern Ireland, the production of the Shakespearean classic mixed boisterous brawls and soaring Celtic music as the young couple tried to find love amid the city's Catholic and Protestant divide.

And now, as tension builds ahead of the Oscars, Kelley is lifting the lid on what it was like working with his former protege.

"With her flaming red hair, Jessica was perfect for the part, and she was really excellent in the production. Her facial expressions and delivery were perfect, and she really got the Irish accent down too,” he said.

"Jessica was great with the other actors, and she was a real leader of the company. We could all see the beginnings of a wonderful actress. We wrote up a recommendation for her for Juilliard School in New York, and it is to her testament that she has gone on to have both a successful career both on Broadway and in film too."

The Sacramento-born actress is seen as a favorite to mine Oscar gold on Sunday — she already won the Golden Globe for her performance in Kathryn Bigelow's gritty thriller about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty is up for a total of five awards including Best Picture, but Kelley and the rest of his team will be most interested in the Best Actress category.

And he hopes that his protégé will one day return to work at the theater company that helped launch her to superstar status.

"We will all be absolutely be rooting for Jessica at the Oscars, and I think her nomination is very deserving,” he said. "Hopefully, she can win the award and can come back to work with us once again at Theatreworks."

12 Fall Beauty Trends You’ll Want To Wear Now

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 10:26 AM PST

Bold Pouts

The one bad thing about fashion week? It’s a total tease! It will be months before Marc Jacobs’ cozy-chic coats, Tibi’s structured sweatshirts, or Prabal Gurung’s military-inspired peplum jacket hits stores.

But the good news is, just about every beauty look we saw at New York Fashion Week can be had right now. That's the beauty of beauty—instant gratification.

And this season's instant gratification comes by way of old-school rebellion.

Punk Hair

Punk Hair

Punk was a major inspiration for both hair and nails. It looked like dozens of Joan Jetts walking the runway at Marc Jacobs, where the 'dos were short and spikey (and sometimes quite mullet-like). At VPL, the hair was equally edgy. Stylist Bob Recine worked with Phyto and T3 tools to create a look that was slicked back on one side and stick straight on the other. Faux Mohawk, meet your match. It appears we now have the faux skater-partially-shaven-head.

Punk Nails

Punk Nails

What would a punk haircut be with out a manicure to match? Fortunately Deborah Lippmann showed up at the Lela Rose show with a new polish called "I Wanna Be Sedated," which comes out this July. It's a rebellious mustard yellow with a texture that's, quite appropriately, a bit rough. Other colors in Lippmann's Punk Rock Collection include "Pretty Vacant" and "I Fought the Law." Kate Spade also countered her feminine styles with edgy nail art, embellishing long, neon and black nails with gold studs.

Not about to get punk’d? The runways also offered plenty of prettier, more wearable trends.

Chocolate Lips

Chocolate Lips

Oxblood lips returned to the runways, but with a richer tint for Fall 2013. Shows like 3.1 Phillip Lim and Dannijo featured a burgundy pout with brown undertones that gave off a romantic vibe.

Ombré Buns

Ombré Buns

We know, we know, enough with the ombre! But this time it doesn't involve hair dye at all. At the Dannijo show, celeb stylist Johnny Stuntz used LUXHAIR WOW Pony Fall extensions (you can get them on Beauty.com) to add a lil' something extra to the models' natural hair. To recreate the look, don't worry about matching your color exactly (that's where the ombré comes in) and pin a hairpiece into your ponytail. Then twist all the hair into a bun, as you normally would and spritz with hairspray (Johnny used L'Oreal Paris Elnett Strong-Hold hairspray). We kind of like the idea of swirling in two slightly different colors of extensions — maybe a blond and a reddish shade — for an even more obvious ombré effect.

Smooth Ponytails

Low Ponytails

We're also seeing a lot of ponytails in the coming months, which is always good news for those of us who like to get up and go. Slicked back and gathered at the nape, low ponytails have been a force in the last few weeks. Not only did they make waves at the Alexander Wang and Trina Turk shows, but Beyonce also wore one to the Grammys.

The New French Mani

Twisted French Manicures

For nails, the French manicure gets a new incarnation. Reverse Frenchies (or half-moon manis) returned to the runways in edgier hues, but we also saw a whole new twist on the classic two-tone design. This new version of the French has a border on the top and the side for a look that's totally mod. The French manicure's distant cousin emerged at the VPL show, where Deborah Lippmann used "Modern Love" as a base color and then painted a thin border on the top of the nail and the inside edge with "Stormy Weather."

Bright Eyeshadow

Bright Eyeshadow

Punk isn't the only part of the ’80s making a comeback this fall. Bright blue, orange, green, and red eyeshadow and liner turned up all over the runways at shows like Jason Wu, Rebecca Minkoff and Thakoon. Line the lid with a cobalt hue for a more wearable take on the trend, and dust along the bottom lashes as well for a modern twist.

Cat Eyes

Cat Eyes

The cat eye continues its reign, but for Fall 2013, the eyeliner trick is bolder and more pronounced. Makeup artists at Monique Lhuillier and Anna Sui shaded in thicker lines, while Jason Wu, Mara Hoffman and Emerson focused on the cat eye’s signature winged tip, with a more exaggerated line.

Bold Pouts

Red Lips

Red lips aren’t going anywhere. The classic lip shade brightened up too many runways to count, adding a chic finish to an array of looks, from grungy to preppy, minimalistic to opulent. To update the look, take a cue from Oscar de la Renta and J.Crew’s models and add a glossy finish to your bright red pout.

Squiggly Nail Designs

Abstract Nail Art

Nails continue to be one of the runways’ main accessories, but the nail art this season is more artsy and abstract. Some of our favorite nail designs came from queen of cool Rebecca Minkoff, who offered fun but modern manis decorated wtih squiggly lines.

Natural

Pretty Faces

We welcomed the return of pretty, natural makeup this season. While we love the bold, boundary-pushing looks from season’s past, it’s always nice to see a few beauty trends that will easily translate from the runways to real life. The trick to pulling this look off is in creating a flawless complexion using a tinted moisturizer or light foundation that lets your skin breath. From there, it’s all about the blush to highlight your cheekbones.

Braids

Intricate Braids

Braids are also back (notice a lot of trends from spring are here to stay?). The update for Fall 2013? They’re getting more intricate and less perfect. Rodarte and Alice + Olivia both showcased more elaborate braided designs that had a slightly undone feel for a cool update to the middle school look. We also saw braids popping up in unexpected places like the back of a voluminous updo at Caroline Herrera.

Find Out How Katy Perry Became One Of Music’s Biggest Success Stories

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 12:09 PM PST

As the only musician besides Michael Jackson to ever have five No. 1 singles from the same album, Katy Perry was a no-brainer pick for our Hollywood Power Index‘s top 5.

Named the sixth best-selling digital artist in the United States, Perry pulls in approximately $45 million, thanks to her chart-topping tunes, mountains of promotional deals and movies.

Keeping her nose to the grindstone to get out her next album in summer 2013, the singer still finds time to spend her riches by jetsetting to colorful locales like Miami and Hawaii.

With sexy bouffant hair and an eye-popping light green gown, the pop princess was a showstopper at the Grammy Awards earlier this month.  Presenting the Grammy for best new artist, Perry acknowledged the category’s influence on a performer’s career even though she’d been passed over for the honor herself.

“I was not even nominated in this category and I have my own eyelash line,” Perry remarked. “Take that, Bon Iver!”

Jokes aside, the songstress continues her meteoric rise – take that Hollywood!

Get the inside scoop on Perry’s success from our experts by launching the gallery, above.

Evelyn Lozada Takes It To The Max-i (EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS)

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 09:30 AM PST

Evelyn Lozada is taking her fashion sense from the street to the catwalk: she’s debuting her new dress collection during London Fashion Week on Feb. 20.

And if fans know anything about the Basketball Wives star, it’s that her signature style is built around eye-catching maxi dresses. Now, she’s created some looks for others — and Celebuzz has the exclusive design sketches.

The line, appropriately dubbed Vida Luxe, is sure to take after the fiesty Latina herself.

“It’s very feminine and flowy and will fit all body types,” Lozada told us. “It’s just so much fun. Lots of colors and patterns.”

Lozada first thought of adding “designer” to her resume after fans commented on her sexy looks for Basketball Wives.

“So many women were like, ‘Where do you go to buy your dresses?’” said Lozada, who teamed up with rapper Bow Wow’s mom, Teresa Caldwell, on the line. ”We got together and she sketched out my ideas and we talked about every detail from fabric to color to hardware. After she drew out everything and put it together, I was blown away.”

So who’s the first lady she’d like to dress? Hint: she’s one of Lozada’s good pals — and no stranger to style.

“Rihanna will be my first target! I love her,” Lozada said. “She’s very edgy and she will try anything.”

But you don’t have to be a pop star to afford these dresses.

“It will be anywhere from $100,” said Lozada, who divorced NFL star Chad Johnson after a domestic violence incident last year. “I believe that you don’t have to have millions of dollars to look fabulous. You can have something affordable, and just make it look like a million bucks.”

And the new clothing line isn’t the only part of Lozada's design career.

“I would eventually love to incorporate denim, because every woman loves wearing denim,” she said. “And feminine sweatsuits that women love to wear to travel. So I’ll eventually have a full line.”

In the meantime, London better batten down the hatches. Said the star: “I wanted to do something big, and I thought that launching this overseas would have a great affect on the line. I figured ‘go big or go home!’”

What would you love to see Evelyn design next? And will you buy her dresses? Let us know what you  think, below.

The Biebs Club Hops Through London Town

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 09:29 AM PST

Justin Bieber

The Biebs is up in the club — or three.

After jetting to the United Kingdom ahead of a string of Believe Tour dates, Justin Bieber is letting loose in London. After dining at Westminster’s stylish Indian eatery Mint Leaf, the “Beauty And A Beat” singer hit up four hotspots in a row on Tuesday evening.

Donning a grey sweatshirt, camel-colored khakis and bright-pink hi-tops, Bieber, 18,  kicked off his party-packed evening with Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am at The Roadhouse, a watering hole in the heart of Covent Garden.

Justin Bieber

“love to my guy @iamwill . good times my friend,” Bieber wrote on Twitter early Wednesday morning. “to the future! haha. #london.” And the Black Eyed Peas member shared the love right back to Bieber: “Let’s design the future. #art (Your a true artist).”

After his first stop, Bieber kept the revelry rolling at Amika, a High Street spot that plays to London’s most stylish, sophisticated crowd, where he was joined by not only will.i.am, but also The Wanted singers Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker.

Justin Bieber

But Bieber didn’t call it a night there.

After sneaking out of Amika, the weary-eyed Canadian crooner continued on to two ultra-exclusive members-only clubs: Beat, and another members-only spot, British Luxury Club.

Justin Bieber

The beloved pop phenom also didn’t leave BLC solo. Hiding from flashing cameras exiting the club, Bieber hopped in a chauffeured car with two mystery ladies, who were all smiles and giggles as they tried to shield their faces. “we are a good time,” Bieber tweeted in the wee hours of the morning.

Now, after a painting the town red, it’s back to business for Bieber. While some speculate he may make a surprise appearance at Wednesday night’s Brit Awards, the pop star is sure to hit the stage starting Thursday when he kicks off the U.K. leg of his Believe Tour, which will take him everywhere from to Manchester and Liverpool, to Birmingham and London.

Do you think Bieber is partying away his Selena Gomez heartbreak? Weigh in below.

18 Memorable Oscar Upsets

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 08:33 AM PST

Although the Oscars have lately become more predictable than an episode of Mike and Molly, that wasn’t always the case.

In fact, the Academy’s 85-year history has been filled with upsets, surprises and moments that have sent our jaws dropping right down to the center of the Earth.

Who could forget the time that Marisa Tomei beat every prestigious actress in Hollywood to win an Oscar for My Cousin Vinny? Or the time that Crash beat Brokeback Mountain for Best Picture, even though it clearly shouldn’t have? (Come on. Crash wasn’t good, no matter what Roger Ebert may have told you.)

So, with the Oscars just a couple of days away, Celebuzz took a look back at some of the telecast’s biggest surprises, moments that give us hope that Sunday’s ceremony won’t be a complete snoozefest.

Have a look at them, below.

1.) Crash beats Brokeback Mountain (2006)

Try as one might to forget it, Crash pulled off one of the biggest upsets ever when it beat the presumptive favorite, Brokeback Mountain, in 2006. The result led to an immediate online backlash, with some accusing Academy voters of being homophobic.

2.) Driving Miss Daisy wins Best Picture (1990)

The Academy shocked everyone in 1990 when it awarded the Best Picture Oscar to Driving Miss Daisy. In doing so, Daisy became the first picture in decades to win Oscar’s top prize without a corresponding nomination for Best Director. Sad news for that year’s favorite, Born on the Fourth of July — but probably good news for 2012′s current frontrunner, Argo.

3.) Bob Fosse Beats Francis Ford Coppola (1973)

Despite winning Best Picture, The Godfather mostly took a backseat to Cabaret when the movie-musical won eight prizes at the 1972 Oscars, including one for its director, Bob Fosse. Perhaps realizing their mistake, voters quickly gave Francis Ford Coppola an Oscar two years later, for The Godfather – Part II.

4.) Grace Kelly Beats Judy Garland (1955)

Judy Garland’s last major chance to win a Best Actress Oscar came to a screeching halt in 1955 when voters decided to give the award to Grace Kelly for The Country Girl instead. To this day, some argue that Kelly’s win was given for her stellar year (she was also in High Noon and Rear Window) and overall star-power as opposed to her individual performance.

5.) Beatrice Straight’s Record-Setting Upset (1977)

Beatrice Straight was the first to admit that her Oscar for Network was a surprise — and for good reason. She was in the critically acclaimed drama for a mere five-or-so minutes, making it the shortest performance ever to win an Academy Award.

6.) Rocky Wins Best Picture (1977)

In a true underdog story, the Sylvester Stallone boxing drama Rocky managed to upset critical heavyweights All the Presidents Men, Network and Taxi Driver in 1976′s jam-packed race for Best Picture. The reason? You tell me.

7.) James Coburn Beats Ed Harris (1999)

James Coburn’s surprise nomination for Affliction proved all the more surprising when he actually won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1999. At the time, Ed Harris was considered the favorite to win for his otherwise award-winning performance in The Truman Show.

8.) Three Six Mafia Actually Wins An Oscar (2007)

In a rare moment, voters decided to go against the grain when they gave the Best Original Song Oscar to rap group Three Six Mafia in 2007. Even frontrunner Dolly Parton couldn’t help but smile after Queen Latifah read the envelope, because, come on. It was awesome.

9.) Marisa Tomei Stuns The World (1993)

Brooklyn native Marisa Tomei had the last laugh when she beat three Brits and Australian to win Best Supporting Actress in 1993 — for My Cousin Vinny, of all movies. With only one previous mention leading up to the ceremony — a Most Promising Female award from the Chicago Film Critics — Tomei’s victory became an instant shocker and, later, the subject of rumors that presenter Jack Palance had actually read the wrong name.

10.) Anna Paquin Beats Winona Ryder, Rosie Perez (1994)

The 1993 race for Best Supporting Actress was supposed to come down to Rosie Perez and Winona Ryder. But in the end, Oscar went for the least-likely-to-win nominee instead, 11-year-old Anna Paquin. (Okay, fine. Emma Thompson never stood a chance.) Paquin was understandably shocked by the results, and spent a good portion of her acceptance speech literally speechless.

11.) How Green Was My Valley Beats Citizen Kane (1942)

Although it’s widely considered to be the greatest movie of all time, Citizen Kane still couldn’t manage to win the Oscar for Best Picture in 1941. Instead, it went to How Green Was My Valley, a movie about — oh, who can tell anymore?

12.) Juliette Binoche Beats An Unhappy Lauren Bacall (1997)

After decades in the business, Lauren Bacall was all set to win an Oscar on her first nomination, for The Mirror Has Two Faces. That is, until Juliette Binoche came out of nowhere to win for The English Patient instead. Years later, in her memoir, Bacall blamed her loss on Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein, who spearheaded The English Patient’s Oscar campaign.

13.) Shakespeare in Love Beats Saving Private Ryan (1999)

And speaking of Harvey, the man was one of the five producers who took home Oscars when Shakespeare in Love took home 1998′s Best Picture Oscar over Steven Spielberg’s World War II epic, Saving Private Ryan. Fifteen years later, many film critics consider this to be one of Oscar’s most egregious errors.

14.) Adrien Brody Beats Everyone (2003)

Adrien Brody pulled off the seemingly impossible when he beat four previous Oscar winners to win Best Actor in 2002. In other words: Jack’s reaction pretty much says it all.

15.) Roman Polanski Beats Everyone (2003)

Even though he was a no-show (for, uh, obvious reasons), exiled director Roman Polanski still stole the show at the 2002 Oscars when he won for his work on The Pianist. Previously, Rob Marshall was expected to win for Chicago, with Gangs of New York’s Martin Scorsese at a distant second.

16.) Marica Gay-Harden Beats Kate Hudson (2001)

Marcia Gay Harden quashed Kate Hudson’s dreams of becoming the next, well, Goldie Hawn by winning 2000′s Best Supporting Actress Oscar for the then-little-seen Pollock. In her speech, the actress thanked the Academy for taking the time to watch the screeners sent out to every voting member.

17.) Chariots of Fire Beats Reds (1982)

The 1981 Oscars was supposed to be all about Reds helmer Warren Beatty — and for awhile, it was. That is, until Chariots of Fire pulled off a Gold medal-winning upset in the race for Best Picture. Still, one can’t feel too bad for Beatty. His film took home three Oscars, including one for his work behind the cameras.

18.) An American in Paris Beats A Streetcar Named Desire

The Academy wasn’t too kind to A Streetcar Named Desire — at least not enough to name it the Best Picture of 1951. That year’s surprise winner? An American in Paris, which nowadays plays out like a pale comparison to Gene Kelly’s true classic, Singin’ in the Rain.

Happy Birthday, Rihanna! 25+ Reasons To Celebrate Her Ever-Changing Hairstyles

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 07:38 AM PST

Rihanna's Hair Evolution

Happy birthday, Rihanna! The singer turns 25 today and in honor of her milestone birthday, we’re celebrating her bold, edgy, ever-changing style, starting with her many, many creative hairdos over the years.

One of the reasons Rihanna is so fun to watch is she changes her hair nearly as often as she changes her outfits. From a platinum blonde 'do with bangs to a cherry red buzz cut, there isn't a cut or color that the singer is afraid to try out. Whether she's going au natural — at least in terms of texture — with bright red curls or sporting sleek ombré locks, Rihanna's tresses are her main accessory.

While the 25-year-old isn’t afraid to chop, buzz, or dye her locks, she also loves to push the boundaries with her never-static style. From modern to sexy, glam to grunge, the only constant about RiRi’s style is that it’s never boring or predictable.

In the August 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar, the Bajan beauty even admitted to being "rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair" — and liking the attention her changing look garners.

So in honor of Rihanna’s 25th birthday, join us in celebrating her bold, boundary-pushing style.

Click through the gallery to see the singer’s many different hairstyles over the years.

Then check out more of Rihanna’s edgy, adventurous style below.

Holy Smoke! Is That Miley Lighting Up?

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 01:07 PM PST

Talk about smoke and mirrors.

A black-and-white photo showing what is speculated to be Miley Cyrus smoking marijuana set tongues wagging on Instagram on Tuesday. But the the smoke-filled snap was posted by an account by the name of “mileyxxcyrus,” which is not helmed by the former Hanna Montana star herself.

“I don’t have an Instagram,” Cyrus tweeted on Monday, after ranting, “Why is everybody trippin. My timeline is blowing up. Everything’s all good in my life just in a creative space right now.”

“#nodistractions,” added the singer, who is working on her follow-up to her 2010 mega album Can't Be Tamed. “That means you twitter!”

But is the brouhaha really over nothing? Though smoke covers most of the person’s face in the photo, the subject in question certainly has a similarity to Cyrus.

On the side of the smoker’s right ring finger, there appears to be a tattoo of two parallel lines, which is strikingly similar to Cyrus’ equal-sign ink. Last July, the star — who is engaged to Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth — tweeted the body art addition, her statement of support for marriage equality.

And the snap is not the first from the ambiguous Instagram account to capture Cyrus amid smoke. Last Friday, the user shared a photo of what seemed to be the singer-actress seated on a couch, as a male companion at her side inhales from what appears to be a marijuana blunt or joint.

Do you think it’s Cyrus smoking in the photo? State why in the comments below.

Clive Davis Responds To Kelly Clarkson’s Scathing Open Letter: ‘I Had Every Fact Checked’

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 06:15 AM PST

Clive Davis is firing back at Kelly Clarkson only hours after the American Idol disputed claims about their testy relationship, as written about in Davis’ new memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life.

“As anyone who has read The Soundtrack of My Life knows, I think Kelly Clarkson is a tremendous vocal talent and performer,” Davis wrote Tuesday night on his Twitter. “In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences.”

“I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together,” he continues. “Before the book was published, I had every fact checked with five independent individuals who were present on a daily basis throughout it all. The chapter as it is written was thoroughly verified by each and every one of them. I stand by the chapter as written in my book. At the same time I wish, and will always wish, Kelly’s talent and her career to soar to ever new heights.”

Earlier Tuesday, Clarkson — whose fallout with Davis hit the press in 2007 upon the release of her then-new CD, My December, fired off a brutal open letter to fans on her WhoSay page, in which she claimed that Davis’ book contained “memory lapses and misinformation.”

“Growing up is awesome because you learn you don’t have to cower to anyone – even Clive Davis,” she wrote.

Kim And Kanye’s Renovated $11M Mansion Will Have Its Own Elevator, Movie Theater And Bowling Alley

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 01:06 PM PST

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West plunked down a whopping $11 million for their new Bel Air mansion – and we know why.

According to public records filed with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, the power couple is already planning to renovate the 9,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style abode to add a gym, movie theater, hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court — plus an indoor pool.

Not that it's too shabby as is…

Those public records reveal the home’s first floor — which is 4,500 square feet in size alone — boasts an oak-paneled library with a marble fireplace, dining room, maid's bedroom and butler's pantry.

The living room is flanked by stone columns, while a “Great Room” has beamed ceilings, a stone fireplace and a bar and wine cellar.

There’s also a massive kitchen (with breakfast room), a den, plus a playroom that could easily be converted into a nursery for their upcoming arrival — plus an adjacent maid/nanny bedroom.

The 4,000-square-foot second floor consists of two master bedrooms with large walk-in closets; each has a bathroom with spas. There is also an exercise room plus two huge guest bedrooms with their own bathrooms and — wait for it — a private elevator.

Outside, Kim and Kanye can enjoy a large infinity-edged pool, which comes with mountain views.

Beside is it an outdoor loggia which serves as an outdoor eating area. And the power couple’s fleet of luxury rides can be kept in the three-car garage, which has an adjacent motor court.

The digs are certainly safe: the home, situated in a secluded gated community, boasts a state-of-the-art security system.

The power couple snapped up the home, which sits on four aces of land, just a week after announcing they were expecting their first baby.

Situated 12 miles from downtown Los Angeles, Bel Air is one of the most exclusive enclavesin California and is steeped in Hollywood tradition, with both younger and older stars residing there.

Kim and Kanye’s celebrity neighbors will include Jennifer Aniston, basketball star Chris Paul and Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis.

The happy couple are expecting their baby this summer.

Mindy McCready’s Heartbroken Mom: ‘I Wish I Could Hold Her In My Arms Again’

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 01:07 PM PST

Gayle Inge, the mother of country singer Mindy McCready, is speaking out for the first time since her daughter’s apparent and tragic suicide on Sunday.

“I wish I could hold her in my arms again,” a heartbroken Inge told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview. “I will never get over this.”

McCready, 37, was found dead at her home in Heber Springs, Ark., after police responded to reports of hearing gunshots. She died of a single self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to initial reports from the Cleburne County’s sheriff’s office.

As more details are sorted out, Inge says that she and her family are trying to find ways to cope with and mourn the loss of the “Ten Thousand Angels” singer.

“We break down and tell stories about her and laugh and talk about her and then break down again,” Inge said. “We don't know how to handle this or know what to do. We take it one day at a time.”

Inge adds that her family is currently planning a memorial for her late daughter, tentatively set for Feb. 26. The date is subject to change, however, if preparations are not ready in time.

McCready’s suicide ended a long and tragic life for the country singer, who battled multiple arrests, addictions and suicide attempts leading up to her death.

In January, her boyfriend and father of one of her children, David Wilson, was also found dead, reportedly of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The following month, McCready’s two children — Zander, 6, and Zayne, 10 months — were removed from her home and a judge ordered her to enter a treatment facility for mental health and alcohol issues.

She was released into outpatient treatment one day later.

Take A Tour Of LeAnn And Eddie’s New Hollywood Mansion

Posted: 20 Feb 2013 01:07 PM PST

What a steal.

Country superstar LeAnn Rimes and her hubby Eddie Cibrian have a new place to call home — and they didn't have to pay too much for it.

Trulia reports that the couple wrote a check for only $3 million for a Hidden Hills, Calif. property after the previous owners fell behind on payments. Advertised as a short sale, the Spanish-style home includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and some 8,600 square feet.

The home, built in 2005, also includes a pool, guesthouse and plenty of outdoor dining space. If they choose to, the couple can also store up to four cars in the property's massive garage.

Rimes, 30 and Cibrian, 39, were married in April 2011 after being engaged for five months.

The couple sparked major headlines when it was discovered that both had cheated on their respective spouses for each other. Cibrian has two young sons from his previous marriage to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville.

What do you think of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's new Hidden Hills home? Check out the gallery, above, for photos inside the property. Then tell us: do you they they got a good deal?
