| Will ‘G.I. Joe’ Sequel Win The Weekend Box Office? Posted: 30 Mar 2013 01:03 PM PDT  The summer blockbuster season is still months away, but it looks like G.I. Joe: Retaliation gave moviegoers an early start this weekend. The sequel to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra grossed $15.5 million domestically, bringing its two-day total to $26 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, starring Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum could also finish Easter weekend with $50 million. Last week's box office winner The Croods grossed another $10.7 million on Friday, while Tyler Perry's Temptationmade $9.4 million in ticket sales.
The Host and Olympus Has Fallen round out the top three for Friday estimates. The first G.I. Joe film grossed $54.7 million domestically in its opening weekend nearly four years ago. Here's what the expectant mom had to say about her latest outfit on her personal blog: Met up with my mom and Kourt for a meeting at my mom's office! I love pairing a blazer with leggings and a top to pull the entire look together and give it some structure.

Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Seyfried made us laugh in Mean Girls – but since then, they’ve gone their separate silver screen ways. However, one fan seems to think they’ve got more in common than just their thespian talents: their movie star good looks. Seyfried tweeted Thursday a case of mistaken identity:

| Watch: Wahlberg And Washington Team Up For New Buddy Cop Comedy Posted: 30 Mar 2013 10:34 AM PDT Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington duke it out — and quickly team up — in their new action comedy 2 Guns. On Friday, the film unleashed its first full-length trailer, featuring plenty of muscle action, car scenes and smart talk. After finding out that they both work for the government (Walhberg's a Naval Intelligence Officer while Washington's from the DEA), the agents disguised as robbers begin a hunt for the bad guys. "The bank was a set up, we've got to figure out whose money that was," Washington's character says at one point. "Well what, like we're working together?" a jolly Wahlberg says. "No, like we're working in the same vicinity . . . in the same area code," his new partner replies. 2 Guns, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, also stars Paula Patton, James Marsden, Bill Paxton and Edward James Olmos. | Posted: 30 Mar 2013 11:49 AM PDT  Justin Bieber's latest furry friend — a monkey — had to miss the Believe Tour on Thursday after landing in Germany without official paperwork. According to PEOPLE, the animal flew to Munich with the singer on his private plane, but was quarantined at Franz Joseph Strauss Airport. "Justin Bieber brought his monkey to Germany but had no official paperwork with him," Thomas Meister, a spokesman for the airport customs office, told PEOPLE. "We were forced to confiscate the animal." Bieber, who may face a fine, continued with his show as scheduled on Mar. 28 at the Olympiahalle arena.
"Do a random act of kindness for #goodfriday . Thanks," the 19-year-old wrote on Twitter on his day off. The "Boyfriend" crooner is scheduled to play in Vienna on Saturday. Bieber's airport incident comes just days after the Canadian superstar made headlines for allegedly getting into a fight with — and spitting on — his neighbor in Calabasas, Calif. The week before, Bieber's BFF Lil Twist reportedly threw a big party at the same home. Some 40 partygoers were apparently at the bash, according to TMZ, while Bieber was overseas on tour. | Jeremy Renner’s Baby’s Name Revealed Posted: 30 Mar 2013 09:01 AM PDT  Hollywood's famous tots club just got bigger! And the newest member has a name — Ava Berlin Renner was born this week to proud parents Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco. "They are beyond thrilled," the actor's spokesperson told Celebuzz. "Mother and daughter are doing great." The baby — Renner’s first — weighed in at 7 lb., the spokesperson added. Renner, 42, first made baby headlines in January when Us Weekly reported that The Avengers star shared his news with Eva Longoria at the Golden Globes.
According to sources at the time, "He was saying, 'I'm going to fly in when her water breaks.'" Earlier this month, CB! reported that a baby registry listed under Pacheco's full name and "Jeremy R" contained 101 items and the mother's due date of Apr. 4. | Brooke Shields: Hamptons Bound? Posted: 30 Mar 2013 07:45 AM PDT  Brooke Shields is heading to the Hamptons. According to the New York Post, the 47-year-old actress and her husband, Chris Henchy, are set to buy a $4.3 million home in Southampton, N.Y., from NFL player Vyto Kab. Originally built in the 1920s, the beautifully renovated home boasts six bedrooms and six full bathrooms with two half bathrooms.
The property also features a gourmet kitchen, a dining area with a fireplace and access to a terrace, a formal living room, a laundry room, a media room and a library. Though the house is surrounded by half an acre of private grounds, Shields’ future home is perfextly located in the center of the village with easy access to shopping, dining and ocean beaches. If she doesn’t fancy a swim in the sea, Shields can also take a dip in her own home’s freshwater pool. On Friday, Beyonce Knowles took to Instagram to share a black-and-white photo of matching director's chairs — one for herself and one for "BIC." The tour, which kicks off in Serbia on Apr. 15, will mark the 31-year-old superstar's fourth concert tour. Queen B last went on the road in 2010 for her "I Am… World Tour."
Beyonce's behind-the-scenes tour photo comes some two weeks after the release of "Bow Down/I Been On," the first new material from the singer since her 2011 album 4.
The hard-hitting track, which was posted to Beyonce's Soundcloud account, was produced by Hit-Boy, who's worked with Jay-Z and Kanye West before. | Here’s Who We Spotted Out And About Posted: 29 Mar 2013 04:34 PM PDT  From airports to the streets of New York and Hollywood, the last 24 hours have been packed with plenty of star sightings to last through Easter weekend. Fresh from her trip to Australia, Ellen DeGeneres enjoyed the California sun in a fedora and shades while out on a walk in Beverly Hills. "I had heard Aussies were incredible people, but this week I experienced it for myself. Thank you, Australia. I'm glad I married one of you," the talk show host wrote on Twitter earlier this week, referring to wife Portia de Rossi. Over in New Orleans, Britney Spears and her boys touched down at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, along with her dad Jamie.
In other airport sightings, Amanda Seyfried tried to keep a low profile after landing at Los Angeles International Airport while Niall Horan flew from Ireland to London's Heathrow after attending his big brother's wedding.
On the red carpet, Bruce Willis, his wife Emma Heming, daughter Rumer Willis and her beau Jayson Blair celebrated the premiere of G.I. Joe: Retaliation at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. | Why J.Law Will Never Be An ***hole Posted: 29 Mar 2013 04:24 PM PDT  It’s no wonder why the world is full of Jennifer Lawrence fanatics: She’s the star of one of the biggest box-office blockbusters in history, The Hunger Games. She’s a Best Actress Oscar winner. And she’s widely hailed as Hollywood’s latest “It Girl.” But one of the biggest reasons millions of fans fawn over Lawrence is because she’s stayed down-to-earth. Now the actress is breaking down how she’s holds on to her humility amid life in the limelight. “I just constantly feel so lucky that I don't really have time to feel cocky,” the actress tells U.K.’s Fabulous magazine. “Definitely my family is not the kind of family that would ever let me turn into an a**hole or anything like that, so I am fortunate to have them.” And though her silver screen hits have skyrocketed her to riches, Lawrence is not following suit of other stars who blow the bank on multimillion dollar mansions or big-ticket cars. “I was raised to have value for money, to have respect for money, even though you have a lot of it,” she explains. “That's why mini-bars are difficult, because it's like yes, I can afford a $6 Snickers bar, but there's just something wrong with that. I still drive my same car I've been driving for a long time, and I haven't bought a house yet.” Though Lawrence still sees herself in the same light, the rest of the world sees a famous face. “I don't ever walk around feeling famous,” she says. “I walk around feeling the exact same way I have walked around my entire life, but it's not until I talk to somebody and see in their eyes that I'm different. It makes me feel weird." "I'm more comfortable with people who know me, like my close friends who I have known forever and my family obviously,” she continues. “There is kind of a sadness that happens when you look into someone's eyes and you realize that they're looking at you a certain way, like you are not really you.” And it’s not just her day-to-day that’s different. Lawrence’s success on screen thrusts her into a different spotlight — schmoozing on red carpets and speaking on stages, places where she feels she doesn’t shine. “I'm afraid I'm going to go my whole life being scared like a Chihuahua. It's not my comfort zone,” she says. “Making movies is where I belong. I shouldn't be heard just talking. So, when I'm doing movies, I'm really happy. That's where I'm comfortable, that's my home. When you put me on a red carpet or on a stage, I turn into chihuahua Jennifer… [and] I have no control over what comes out of my mouth.” It’s those drawbacks of celebrity that caused the actress to hesitate before taking on her career-defining role as lead Katniss Everdeen in the record-breaking Hunger Games franchise. “I was happy with my life, and I didn't know if I wanted it to change,” she recalls. “I've always had this imaginary future where I would be a soccer mom that drove a mini-van and my kids would be normal. That just didn't fit with taking on a giant franchise. So I took three days to decide, and each day was a different answer.” “I finally talked to my mom,” she continues. “I'd only really done indie films before that, and she said: 'Every time people ask you why you don't do studio movies, you always say that it's because you don't care about the size of the movie, you care about the story and the character. But you're a hypocrite, because now you have a story and a character that you love, but you're not saying yes to it because of the size of it.' So, I said yes, and I haven't regretted it." |

The sisters called the ad vile, and are looking into legal action. Ford has maintained that the mockup was created without their approval. | 8 Tips For Improving Your Home Theater Experience Posted: 29 Mar 2013 04:28 PM PDT  So you've invested some serious money into your home theater. Yeah, it's cool, but maybe you don't feel like you are getting the absolute most out of the system. To help, we present our favorite tips for improving your home movie watching experience on any budget. Check out the list below and you’ll be living in surround-sound in no time. 1. Get darker curtains. Dark, or "blackout" curtains can really help reduce the amount of light that penetrates a room and causes glare on your screen. 2. Invest in better seating. It may seem like a luxury, but paying a little extra for comfy couches or "true" movie seating will go a long way in helping you enjoy the perfect at-home movie experience. 3. Get audio that does your video justice. Too many people stop after investing in everything they need to improve picture quality. Don't forget that an intense audio experience is just as important when bringing the theater experience home. 4. Get a better sub-woofer. To our point above, if you can only afford one audio component to improve, make it the sub-woofer. You'll experience every explosion and scary moment with more depth. 5. Better Internet. With streaming movies off of Netflix and other services now a part of our film-enjoying routine, make sure that you have the bandwidth to cover it. A few extra dollars a month for top speed FiOS or DSL will keep you from experiencing any hiccups. 6. Get a "cleaner" power source. Don't share your home theater's electrical hook up with other appliances in your home. In addition to causing a potential black-out, this can lead to loud humming from the circuits – which can impact your movie-going experience. 7. Invest in quality wires and cables. Don't go crazy and spend hundreds of dollars on cables just because the guy at the store "swears by them," but don't stick with what comes in the box either. Do your homework and upgrade to more elite audio and video cables – it will make a difference. 8. Get the best movies! Kourtney Kardashian told sister Khloe that she would gladly be her surrogate in an upcoming episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami. After talking to Scott Disick about the generous offer, the mother-of-two realized that she wanted to do anything she could to help her younger sister have her first child. Khloe has hit a few fertility issues along the road to welcoming a child with her hubby, Lamar Odom. The 28-year-old opened up on the March 31 episode to her stepbrother Brandon Jenner and his wife, Leah Felder. “About a year ago, we were like, ‘Let’s just see what happens.’ And then when it didn’t happen, Kim was like, ‘Let’s go to the doctor,’” she said. “I found out I don’t ovulate, and now my uterus lining isn’t thick enough and I have to take pills to make my uterus lining thicker. If that doesn’t get thicker, then I cannot carry a baby.” And during an appearance in 2012 on Good Morning America, Khloe spoke about seeing her first specialist and admitting to herself that starting a family may not be as easy as she once thought. "It was really hard to show what I was going through," she said of discovering her health issues. "I feel like I'm helping a lot of people, but I'm still figuring it out for myself."

| A Tribute To The Work Of Stephenie Meyer Posted: 29 Mar 2013 03:21 PM PDT While The Host, which opens today in theaters everywhere, has garnered a great deal of anticipation over it's star-studded cast, there's no arguing that a lot of the excitement over the movie comes from its creator, Stephenie Meyer. You might remember Meyer as the author of a little thing called The Twilight Saga which was turned into one of the most successful film series of all-time, and made household names out of its stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Check out the video above for an exclusive interview with The Host's creator – filmed on location at the movie's red carpet premiere in Los Angeles.
Meyer, like J.K. Rowling of the Harry Potter phenomenon is to be applauded for helping get so many young people into reading. He stories tweak the imagination, but are also filled with young women who inspire with their honesty and self-confidence. Will The Host spawn a number of sequels like Twilight?
