| RiRi: Tardy For The High School Party Posted: 23 Mar 2013 01:13 PM PDT Looks like Rihanna has some of the greatest fans in the world. On Friday, the singer popped by Barrington High School in Chicago to meet some of her biggest and most talented fans after they won a video contest. The problem? Riri was some three hours late to the meet-and-greet, a delay she blamed on traffic. "This Chicago traffic is not working," she wrote on Twitter, along with a photo from her vehicle. The "Diamonds" songstress then proceeded to share facts about the kids from Barrington High School, including their work for the American Cancer Society and raising money for a tornado that hit Missouri last year. Despite her tardiness, Rihanna was still welcomed with open arms when she finally arrived at 5:35 PM local time, the Chicago Sun-Timesreports.
"It was a really long wait, but Rihanna is so inspirational," freshman Batul Yawer told the paper. "It's cool to have such a huge star here," added fellow freshman Jamie Brown. Rihanna first planned her visit to BHS after seeing their student-produced video that included their community service and volunteer work. "I think you guys really come together as one and help each other out in your community," she told the young crowd on Friday. RiRi is currently on the North American leg of her Diamonds World Tour. The 25-year-old, who played Chicago's United Center on Friday night, will take the show to St. Paul, Minn. on Saturday, followed by three shows in Canada. | Zack Morris Takes His Shirt Off Again Posted: 23 Mar 2013 12:08 PM PDT  Mark-Paul Gosselaar let his abs do the talking on Friday as he filmed new scenes for his TV series Franklin & Bash. The 39-year-old actor sported nothing but a pair of baby blue swim trunks as he hit the beach in Malibu with a full crew and cameras. Gosselaar, who plays attorney Peter Bash in the TNT series, was joined by his co-star Breckin Meyer, who also flaunted his abs on set. Franklin & Bash, which also stars Garcelle Beauvais and Heather Locklear, has yet to announce the premiere date for season three. Gosselaar's shirtless display comes just over one week after he was spotted on the same set with a half-worn surfing suit. | Reese Celebrates The Big 3-7 In Mexico Posted: 23 Mar 2013 11:09 AM PDT  That's the look of an extremely happy birthday girl. On Friday, Reese Witherspoon rang in her 37th birthday with a romantic getaway to Mexico with husband Jim Toth. The pair were spotted grinning ear to ear as they soaked up the sun in the celebrity friendly Cabo San Lucas.
Noticeably absent from the getaway were Witherspoon's kids Ava, Deacon and baby Tennessee, who was born last September.
It was recently announced that the Oscar winning actress' upcoming film Mud with Matthew McConaughey has been added to this year's Sundance London in late April. The coming-of-age picture, written and directed by Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter), also stars Michael Shannon, Sarah Paulson and Sam Shepard. After she shows BFF Jonathan Cheban photos of an L.A. house she's interested in, their attention quickly turns to a website that has placed the reality TV star on its worst dressed list. "The pressure . . . I already have to go shopping again because I don't have enough stuff here," Kardashian says in a voiceover.
The pill becomes an even bitter one to swallow as the website places blame on her boyfriend Kanye West.
"It just really sucks when you're on the worst dressed list. People think that Kanye actually has the time to dress me every single day," she says. Less than three weeks after giving birth to her first child, Holly Madison hit the red carpet in Las Vegas on Friday. The 33-year-old beauty showed off her glowing post baby body in a bright blue dress and studded belt as she came out to the Bellagio Hotel and Casino to support Cirque Du Soleil's One Drop Gala. Also at the charity event: Michael Phelps, Pamela Anderson, Shania Twain and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.
Madison, who welcomed daughter Rainbow Aurora with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella on Mar. 5, recently introduced their new bundle of joy to the world.
"Just holding her is so much fun," the new mom told In Touch, along with a photo of her posing with her baby girl. "Like all babies, she has her moments. | J. Law Glams It Up For The ‘70s Posted: 23 Mar 2013 07:13 AM PDT  No sign of Katniss Everdeen here! On Friday, Jennifer Lawrence was spotted hard at work on the set of the Untitled David O. Russell/Abscam Project in Boston, Mass. The 22-year-old actress looked super glamorous — and voluminous — thanks to her updo for the new film, set in the '70s about an FBI sting operation. This is the second time Lawrence has worked with O. Russell, who directed her in Silver Linings Playbook. The untitled project will also star other O. Russellalums, including Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Amy Adams.
Since winning the Oscar for Best Actress in February, Lawrence has been busy juggling multiple projects.She recently wrapped The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, is now filming the O. Russell project and will soon get into her Mystique best again for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Lawrence and O. Russell will team up again for a third time for the upcoming love story The Ends of the Earth. No word on when production for the drama will begin. On Friday, the reality TV star was spotted with bags of toys — and a giant plush giraffe — as she spent the afternoon shopping in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 28-year-old was all smiles as she filmed new scenes for Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kardashian, who donned a black V-neck shirt and matching pants, was joined by a friend's young daughter, who looked equally stylish for the shopping trip.
"Oh hi gorgeous!!! I'm a succer for @giuseppezanottiworld who wouldn't be?!?!" she wrote on Twitter that day, referring to her gold and black stilettos.
Earlier in the day, Kardashian was spotted out and about with her sisters Kourtney and Kim, who was wearing the same Giuseppe Zanotti heels. You’d be a perilous situation and BAM there’d be a wise-cracking movie hero on scene to lend a hand and scoop you to safety. In the new movie Olympus Has Fallen, Gerard Butler plays a fallen Secret Service agent who must save the White House and the President when both are captured by a group of terrorists. On the next episode of E!'s Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, Kourtney Kardashian's longtime love is determined to make his own loafers after an encounter with another reality TV star. While out with Khloe Kardashian at a friend's nightclub, Disick meets Vienna Girardi of The Bachelor fame and finds out about her family's alligator farm. "That's unbelievable . . . I want to find an alligator and make it my shoe!" he announces at the club. "I didn't think this girl Vienna was actually going to get in contact with me and let me know if I could come up to her farm, but she did and I gotta tell ya, I kind of want to take advantage of this and do it," Disick later says in a confession cam. | Tina Fey Talks ‘Post-30 Rock’ Life Posted: 23 Mar 2013 10:09 AM PDT  With NBC’s 30 Rock wrapped, it looks like Tina Fey, whose upcoming comedy Admission opens Friday, and has The Muppets… Again! due out next year, might be kissing TV goodbye for good. But, not so fast! Fey told reporters recently that she and writing partner, Robert Carlock, are definitely interested in doing another series at some point, only not right away. "It was such a drain on family life — 16, 18-hour days to do a single-camera series," she groused. "We want to try to figure out a way to do it easier," adding with a smile, "More easily, would be how you would say it in English." No word on what that show might be, but if it's anything like 30 Rock, critics and fans are in for a treat. Based loosely on Fey's experience at SNL, 30 Rock won six Golden Globes and 10 Emmys, becoming a TV staple during its seven-season run. The final two-part episode, Hogcock/Final Lunch aired on January 31 to glowing reviews, delivering a proper send off to the show, instead of the usual slow drift toward cancellation. "It was a very bittersweet ending, but the fact that we knew it was ending was such a great thing," said Fey. "We were able to say to the network, 'Can we do these last 13 and be done?' And they were like, 'Yeah cause your show's fricking expensive." In fact, the 30 Rock crew were still hauling their stuff out of the offices, making room for Lena Dunham and the gang from HBO’s Girls, which Fey said, "Feels like good karma." Looking back on the series, she singled out “The Rural Juror” episode from Season 1 as a favorite. On the episode, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) has a movie coming out and is nervous about its prospects, so she asks Liz (Fey) for feedback, leading to a quarrel. "We were having a conversation in the writers' room and someone came out and said, 'Y'know what word I just flat out can't say? Rural.’" Fey and Carlock instantly arrived at the name of Jenna's movie “The Rural Juror.” "No one can understand it," laughed Fey. "My movie's coming out!' And they can't understand what the title of the movie is." With 30 Rock in her rearview mirror, Fey has two stops ahead. One definite, like The Muppets… Again! currently shooting in London, and another not so definite, Mean Girls, the Broadway musical. "It's something we definitely hope to do," she said. "It takes years and years and we have to get in there and go for it." When asked if they would consider casting Lindsay Lohan to reprise her role from the 2004 movie, Fey had no comment. One thing she definitely won't be doing any time soon is directing, though she's been asked to several times. "If there were a guild for backseat directing, I would like to join that, especially on TV where the writers can hang around and annoy the director," Fey grinned. Tom Hardy was spotted getting cozy with his adorable canine co-star on the set of his new film Animal Rescue. The new crime drama, which also stars Noomi Rapace and James Gandolfini, is due for a 2014 release. Over in Sydney, Australia, Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi hung out with a giraffe at Taronga Zoo on Friday. DeGeneres is gearing up to tape her popular talk show Down Under this weekend. "I wanna see your Australian pride tomorrow, but I don't wanna see your lawn chairs. You won't be able to bring big things into the show!" the talk show queen wrote on Twitter ahead of the taping at Opera on the Harbour. In other couples sightings, Britney Spears and her rumored new beau David Lucado were spotted walking hand-in-hand in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The pop princess and her 27-year-old new friend spent the afternoon shopping.

And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does." The 65-year-old’s gated and private home boasts seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms and over 10,000 square feet of space with a massive attached guesthouse.
The home overlooks the Pacific Ocean, offering ample views of the coastline in many of its rooms and patios. The tudor-style masterpiece has been David’s bachelor pad since his 2007 divorce from environmental activist, Laurie Lennard. | What Went Down At Our Special Screening Of ‘The Host’ In Hollywood Posted: 22 Mar 2013 03:22 PM PDT  What an evening it was Thursday night at Celebuzz’s screening of The Host at Arclight Hollywood. Before Saoirse Ronan, Jake Abel, Max Irons and Diane Kruger sat down for a Q&A with fans inside the theater, I caught up with them about the movie and why they signed on (more to come on that later).
I chatted up Ronan about Mother Ireland, and told Kruger I was all about her Dior gown at Cannes 2012 (so much poof).
Inside, the stars took their seats and answered questions from eager fans. They even invited one up who had been camping outside the theater since 10am! Meanwhile, I stared at dreamy Irons as he accidentally dropped an F-Bomb. He’s lucky he’s cute. At the after party, guests were treated to libations and excellent Host swag, including posters and movie art. The Host opens everywhere March 29th. |
