| Justin Timberlake Goes To Washington Posted: 09 Apr 2013 12:38 PM PDT  Singer-turned-actor-turned-singer again Justin Timberlake ditched his suit and tie for popped collar action at the White House on Tuesday. The 32-year-old, whose first CD in seven years, The 20/20 Experience, has already sold over one million copies, was in Washington to speak at an interactive student workshop on soul. He spoke alongside Sam Moore, Mavis Staples, Charlie Musselwhite, Ben Harper and, of course, the President and First Lady. Timberlake will take part in tonight’s In Performance at the White House, the 10th performance since the Obamas took office in 2009.
Although the day was all about soul music, it was hard not to keep the focus on Timberlake, who looked adorably dapper in a zip-up and slacks. His best accessory, though: his wedding ring, which he’s donned since marrying Jessica Biel last year in Italy. Check out more photos from today’s talk in the gallery, above. |
| Ashley Tisdale Toses Out Her Top For ‘Maxim’ Posted: 09 Apr 2013 12:34 PM PDT  Ashley Tisdale is leaving that Disney good-girl image in the dust. The actress, who rose to fame on the High School Musical franchise, is proving she’s anything but child-friendly these days in the May 2013 issue of Maxim, on newsstands now. Donning ruffed bikini bottoms and a leather biker jacket, Tisdale smolders for the camera in a skin-baring beach photo spread, in which she opens up about men, family and filming with Lindsay Lohan. “There’s definitely a thing where I like the dark, mysterious bad boy,” Tisdale, 27, describes of her type, while adding she wouldn’t turn down “surfer, blond frat guys.” And once she’s set her sights on a man, she wants to cut to the chase. “I’m not into the ‘game’ so much,” says the star, whose dating record includes musician Jared Murillo and music video director Scott Speer. “If I like you, I’ll confront you and be open about it. Then I expect you to come after me.” After starring on the small screen in recent years, such as Hellcats and Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, Tisdale is headed back to theaters this year with her lead in Scary Movie V, a reboot of the famed spoof franchise on which she collaborated with Lindsay Lohan. "I think Lindsay's great!” she gushes. “There were so many cameos, and that's what I love about these movies. They'd write a scene, then look for cameos, and they'd just pop in and do it. It was, like, Whoa, Mike Tyson's here, and that wasn't even planned!" Unlike some other child stars, Tisdale didn’t following familial footsteps into Hollywood. “The family on my mom's side, their whole business is inventing and pitching stuff,” she explains. “My grandfather is in infomercials. He's a pitchman, so if you're ever watching TV late at night, you'll probably see him pitching knives. My great-grandfather also invented the plastic cheese grater." But now that she’s in the spotlight to stay, Tisdale and her family have had to field their fair share of over-zealous fans. "Once I Instagrammed a picture of me waking up, and the next day this older gentleman came to my parents' house saying he wasn't going to leave till he saw me,” she recalls. “I was like, maybe I shouldn't have taken a picture of me in bed?" And so does Alex McCord. The former NY housewife and TV personality is still reveling in every last bit of RHOBH's "Secrets Revealed" – aka the annual "lost footage" show with a hotter name. Yeah, the ratings will totally be higher this season. Things we learned last night: everyone hates Faye. Except Kyle. But let's face it: Ms. Resnick just wants camera time – and, as Alex says, she'd start a fight with the Pope to get it. Zing! Between mammograms and a really weird scene between Taylor, Adrienne and Paul, we also got to see Brandi and Yolanda in Paris. Hey, was Alex the only one who noticed a "promotional consideration" line for the brand during the closing credits? As our resident pro says, that means Yolanda and Brandi probably got free shoes. Really, really good free shoes. Alex also has a few other things figured out – like how "lost footage" shows are sometimes used as the "producers' revenge." Child actor-turned-troubled-starlet Amanda Bynes just tweeted her love for the famous reality gals. And we can’t blame her for loving the sister trio made up of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe… but Bynes didn’t end her shout-out there.
She even gives herself some nods by calling out her fave pap pics… and her hairdresser. Oy!
The former Nickelodeon star has made a habit out of making some shocking revelations via social media as of late, including confessing April 4 that she suffers from an eating disorder.
Ever since her DUI arrest just over a year ago, the actress migrated from the West Coast to the East Coast, where she transformed herself from girl next door to “who’s that girl?” – complete with curly platinum blonde hair, cheek piercings, matte makeup, questionable clothing, and bizarre behavior (locking herself in a bakery bathroom for more than 30 minutes takes the cake.) Bradley Cooper Takes His New Girlfriend To Paris Posted: 09 Apr 2013 10:59 AM PDT  Bradley Cooper took a break from his busy schedule — and curly hair — on Monday to take his new girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse, out on the town in Paris. The Hangover star kept very close to his 20-year-old model-girlfriend as they wandered around town, and managed to shield his hair (seriously, have you seen those curls?) underneath an oversized wool cap. The couple, who went public last month in Boston, have been in the City of Love all weekend. So, why do we keep mentioning Cooper’s hair? Well, the Oscar-nominated hunk and former Sexiest Man Alive recently made a drastic change to his look, all for David O. Russell’s new movie about the FBI’s ABSCAM plot in the ’70s.
He joins a cast that includes Amy Adams, a balding Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner and his Silver Linings Playbook costar, Jennifer Lawrence. The film is due out sometime this year. Cooper previously dated Zoe Salanda. They split last year. |

The bouffant, the heavy eyeliner, the English rose skin – I love it. All of it. According to the Telegraph, the Oscar/Grammy/Golden Globe winner is currently in the studio recording her third album. Following the success her second album, 21, Adele has fallen in love, gotten engaged and given birth to her first child. Elle Magazine selected the Brit as their cover girl for the May 2013 issue, celebrating women in music. For her close-up, Adele showed off her signature look (poofy hair and flawless makeup) in a vintage lacy dress by Alberta Ferretti. | ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ Recap: Vicki and Tamra Bury The Hatchet Posted: 09 Apr 2013 10:34 AM PDT  There must have be something in the lobster at Heather Dubrow‘s clambake to cajole former friendsVicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney to kiss and make up. On Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County, fans were speechless after witnessing the pair duke it out during last season's reunion. Many wondered if the ladies could ever repair their fractured friendship. It appears time does heal old wounds. Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode: “Evil Eyes and Evil Faces.” After Tamra, Heather and Gretchen Rossi finally got over the shock of Vicki's new facial "tweaking" (in English: Face lift), the gals filled each other in on their lives. It looked like everyone was starting to get along like nothing happened, but in true Orange County fashion, an innocent comment of Vicki's joking about Tamra giving Gretchen the "evil eye" just set things off. Come on now ladies. You say the meanest things to each other without even flinching, but this gets you riled up? Get it together, already! Vicki and Tamra rehash what led to their uber blowup, causing Ms. Barney to flee in tears. Seriously Tamra? Heather, being the voice of reason, goes after Tamra and tells her to work things out with Vicki. While the two women make great strides to fix their friendship, by locking themselves in a closet (huh?), they inform the cameras separately they are still keeping their guard up with the other. How the devil can you have a relationship based on trust, when you two aren’t being honest about everything?! We get you are a bit hesitant to open up yet again with each other, but why not put your cards on the table and admit it? As much as Vicki and Tamra harp about "being real" with people, those two sure are being a bit phony by not speaking up about their doubts they have about each other. What's the worst that can happen, if Vicki and Tamra decided to voice their trepidation on going back to the way things were? Here's hoping Vicki and Tamra can get that ole' thing back (and we're not talking about Vicki's face). Buzz Moments: OMG!: Great balls of fire, Slade has a job! Allen never fails to disappoint when it comes to fashion on and off camera, but one accessory she’s ready to do away with forever… well, was actually meant to be there forever. On the top of her biggest regrets list, she confesses to Celebuzz, is her tattoo which — like Angelina Jolie before her — is quickly getting removed. "It's the worst thing I've ever done," Allen told CB! of the prophetic etching on her right foot. "It's written in Gaelic because I'm of Irish descent and it means 'you're feet will bring you to where you're heart is,' which I believe. It will be gone, but the sentiment is always there.”
And since the 21-year-old has a low pain threshold, getting the body ink gone for good sounds like it’ll now top her most painful experiences list. "As painful as getting a tattoo is, getting it removed is at least 30 times more painful," said the actress. So she confesses it would be nice to have a helping hand to squeeze… that is, if Brad Pitt can spare his wife-to-be. "I mean it took me two months to work up the courage to go back for a second session. We need to go together. Someone call Angelina, I need someone's hand to squeeze." But don’t look for her to make the same mistake twice. You won’t be seeing this actress with Jolie’s too-many-too-count body art. "I've never disliked the tattoo. Brown recently silenced speculation that he had split from his longtime on-again, off-again love, telling the Today show that “everything’s good.” But now, the rumor mill is suggesting once more that the oft-controversial couple has really called it quits. E! News reports that while Rihanna will always hold Brown in her heart, she is ready to put the romance behind her. It’s not that RiRi has her sights set on another man — she simply plans to focus on her singing career and other professional ventures, such as her forays into fashion and perfume. But is Brown already falling into the arms of a new lady love? The “Fine China” hit-maker was spotted drinking, dancing and holding hands with a beautiful blonde at Hollywood hotspot Playhouse on Sunday night. The snaps of the two sparked questions — and even some baseless accusations that the woman was the blame for Brown and Rihanna’s split. But it turns out she is just Brown’s occasional party pal, 22-year-old Keisha Kimball, who waits on the the R&B star at Playhouse. "I am always Chris' waitress. I know him and am friends with his friends. Nothing has ever happened. I just work there,” Kimball told TMZ. “In the photos, he was handing me a bottle to drink out of. Charlize Theron and Seth Macfarlane were photographed leaving a West Hollywood restaurant last night, which has everyone in a tizzy. While they certainly could be rolling around together, Theron is due to start filming Macfarlane’s new comedy, A Million Ways To Die In The West. So, let’s not get too aggressive with name-fusing just yet. Chatter about their supposed romance (be it casual or on-the-way-to-smug-married status), began back in September, and then reached a fever pitch during the Oscars, which Macfarlane hosted. Before the big show, Macfarlane sang Theron’s praises: “I will say, she is an incredibly kind, supremely talented person and one of the hardest-working people I have ever met. “It’s a pain… because if you date, at a certain point you’re in a relationship and at a certain point you’re playing the field.” Theron ended her relationship with actor Stuart Townsend in 2010, and Macfarlane split with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke due to long-distance issues. |

Helps Ryan C.’s Street Cred…In The Love Department Posted: 09 Apr 2013 07:12 AM PDT  Ryan Cabrera came clean last week about his brewing bromance with Ryan Gosling (remember the now infamous tattoo?!). But he owes more than just a cool conversation starter to the big-screen heartthrob. Gosling is helping Cabrera score with the ladies. "Listen, ladies love the Gos," Cabrera told Celebuzz. "So there is nothing else to say about that. So I am not mad." And forget bang 'em up action flicks, this singer is Notebook fan. "I am actually a really big Gosling fan," he added. "It's kind of an homage, at this point you gotta flaunt it. My friend knew that [I was a fan], so it was really funny." And the bromance is only blossoming further. Even his friend has ink of the hunk's mug. "We show them off at the pool," said Cabrera, who's in the studio recording his fourth album and gearing up to go on tour May 1. So is the 30-year-old starting a tattoo trend here? Well, he admits he would have never (we repeat, never) gotten the body art three months ago without being blindfolded in a little game of tattoo roulette the singer and his BFF like to play. "I would never do something like that on my own,” Cabrera said. "We just kind of stepped it up a notch on this round.” And despite his heavily inked up appearance, there are rules to follow. "It can't be religious and it can't be tribal, and it had to be off the wall,” said Cabrera. "It's only for the legs though. Like my ankle I don't really care about." Believe it or not, this isn't the first famous face Cabrera has on his body — but it's the only one he hasn't actually taken seriously. Those he saves for the prime sections of his body where you’ll find Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison. "I've never, ever wanted anyone's face on me other than The Beatles.” And even then, he’s still shy. "I sat next to Paul McCartney at a [Led] Zeppelin show in London, and I have this huge Paul McCartney tattoo on my arm and I folded down my sleeves. I was like, 'I don't want him to see that I am a big crazy fan!'" But he'd swallow his pride for an in-person show-and-tell with Gosling. | The Fed Is Cool With Bey And Jay’s Cuba Visit Posted: 09 Apr 2013 07:08 AM PDT  Beyoncé and Jay-Z were free to frolic Cuba — phew. The superstar couple stirred up controversy with their trip to Havana last week, as three Republican Congress members questioned the legality of their visit to the Caribbean country. Given the United State’s long-standing trade embargo against Cuba, Americans are prohibiting from flying to the communist-led nation without a U.S. government-granted license. But the concerned lawmakers can now rest easy, as the U.S. Treasury Department had granted Bey and Jay the proper papers for a “people-to-people” cultural trip to Cuba, according to Reuters. The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary during the high-profile jaunt to Havana. Beyoncé, 31, and Jay-Z, 43, were greeted by throngs of fans as they strolled hand-in-hand — with both of their mothers in tow — sightseeing some of the Cuban capital’s most iconic landmarks, a tour which was led by a resident architect. The four-day trip was completely cultural in nature, including no typical tourist activity. The couple dined on traditional meals at some of the city’s most famed eateries, visited local artists and musicians, met with a children’s theater group and stopped by several nightclubs where live music was performed. Despite all the headline-hitting hoopla, representatives for the stars have yet to comment on the controversy. Seems it’s all just more proof that the King and Queen of hip hop do as they please. | Kate Middleton Appointed As Godmother To Royal Princess Cruise Ship Posted: 09 Apr 2013 10:59 AM PDT  The Duchess of Cambridge will get to smash a bottle of Moet against yet another water vessel, this time for Princess Cruises. Today, the luxury cruise line appointed Her Royal Highness as Godmother at the official naming ceremony of the Royal Princess, set to take place in Southampton, England on June 13th. HRH will tour the vessel, and then part in a special naming gala that evening (Ooooh. Gala = black tie = princess-like gown complete with baby bump). Back in the day, ships were blessed by priests and men were typically bestowed the title of godfather (where for art thou girl power?). The godfather would hand flowers to the godmother and together they would say the name of the ship to bless it. Over time, the task has been handed over to the lady folk, and these days it’s up to the godmother to christen the boat. A cruise ship Godmother bestows a blessing on the ship asking for the safety of its crew and passengers. Back in 2010, Queen Elizabeth christened her namesake Cunard ship in Southampton: “I name this ship Queen Elizabeth. God bless her and all who sail in her,” the Queen declared. |
| Gwyneth And Demi Took The Same Flight Together Posted: 09 Apr 2013 10:59 AM PDT  Depending on your opinion of them, this could have either been the best trip ever or the flight from hell. Blogger to the stars Gwyneth Paltrow and former X Factor host Demi Lovato were apparently on the same flight yesterday, as revealed Monday in a pretty epic celebrity Selfie. “Apple! Check out who was on my flight!” Paltrow wrote late last night, mentioning her eight-year-old daughter’s name. This led to a bit of a love-fest between the two famous faces on Twitter.
“Gwyneth P. is SO nice!!!” Lovato, 20, wrote. “She wanted a picture with ME?!!! #COOL … So nice to meet you!!” No word on what was actually said between the two — but we’re guessing memorable on some level. In the meantime, check out the Selfie, below.
