Molly Sims sizzled in Cabo San Lucas this Eater weekend when she stepped out flaunting her toned baby body in nothing but a skimpy bikini. The mom-of-one, who gave birth to son Brooks in last June, accessorized her look with a colorful Theodora and Callum scarf. Sims, 39, sure has worked hard to drop the baby weight — losing almost 70 pounds.
"I had to eat really lean and I had to watch every calorie," she told Celebuzz of the weight loss in March. "I will say it was not easy. I wish I could say I was eating M&Ms and McDonalds all day long, but I just wasn't." "The biggest advice I can [give] is don't try to compare yourself, even though, trust me, I know you will. I did. The Fashion Star judge may have let it slip that she’s expecting the pitter patter of little boy feet, but one thing she’s not letting go is her baby body. After gaining 60 pounds the first time around with 1-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew, the Weight Watchers spokeswoman shed a whopping 50 pounds and is now making healthier choices… and may we say, looking mighty fit doing it. Now, six months pregnant, the 32-year-old’s hard work is paying off after she admitted to learning a few lessons the second time around: “The first pregnancy, I let loose and kind of ate everything that I wanted to eat and I just really enjoyed it,” the singer-turned-fashion-designer said on The Ellen Degeneres Show earlier this month. “This time around because I was doing Weight Watchers and I felt super healthy, I’m not really craving as much,” she added. “I know how hard it is to get [weight] off, so I’m trying to make healthier, wiser decisions.” She even called this pregnancy the “complete opposite” from her first. “Like with Maxwell, I felt amazing, like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted. I had a lot of energy,” she said. “This time around, I’m like exhausted. Eating Tums. That’s my snack of choice.” But exhaustion and new cravings aren’t the only changes she’s experiencing. Though the spotlight rarely shines on them, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are still very much together. Since first stepping out together in 2007, the couple have continued to quietly date, despite the occasional breakup rumor. Now after years of staying mostly lips-sealed, the Hart of Dixie star is now dishing on her hush-hush relationship. “I'm a really good girlfriend — I always put all that first in my life,” Bilson says in the May issue of Cosmopolitan, which hits newsstands on April 9. “I'm definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to.” It makes sense that the public rarely spots the pair out on the town — Bilson, 31, and Christensen, 31, are both homebodies. "I love to cook,” she explains, “so we make dinner at home a lot and watch movies.” But when the couple opts for a night out, the actress — who has seen success with her first foray into fashion, the deliver-to-your-doorstep shopping website Shoemint — lets her funky fashion sense shine. "Guys are so visual. I can never go wrong with a tight dress or a short skirt,” says Bilson, adding that she always adds a dash of edge to her “too pretty” getups. “I’m lucky that my boyfriend is open-minded when it comes to fashion. As a reward for their efforts, they were treated to games from the Jersey Shore cast and a concert from Ne-Yo and Timeflies on March 23 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, N.J. Take a look at a sneak peek from “Spring Fix” above. The special "Spring Fix" programming will air on MTV and mtvU Monday-Thursday. Here are some highlights: Monday-Thursday: MTV will air two Ne-Yo performances and two Timeflies performances in the early evening. It's no accident — she’s had five seasons of Mad Men to learn from the best in show costume designer Janie Bryant. And on Apr. 7, Shipka will portray Sally Draper for a sixth season, as the AMC show heads to the '60s. Off screen, Shipka has hit the right fashion notes thanks to names like Miu Miu, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Moschino. At this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Mar. 23, the young star turned to Rag & Bone for a floral frock that doubly served as a reminder that you can look chic and fresh all while being age-appropriate.
"What I try to do with red carpets, I try to make it a little different each time," Shipka told Harper's Bazaar last summer. "I most admire people who aren't afraid of what people are going to think and really just rock it, even if it's really crazy."
While the red carpet is still waiting for Shipka to pull off a "really crazy" look (a la her personal favorites Willow Smith or Helena Bonham Carter), the actress has settled comfortably into an affair with patterns, bright colors and looks that let the clothing — not the makeup, shoes or accessories — do all the talking. | Chris Brown Addresses Rihanna Assault, Says They’re Still Together Posted: 01 Apr 2013 12:25 PM PDT After years of avoiding the topic, Chris Brown is finally ready to talk about his 2009 attack on girlfriend Rihanna that left her visibly bruised and battered and slapped him with a felony assault charge. Such was the case Monday morning on TODAY, in which a seemingly honest Brown, 23, laid it all out on the table for host Matt Lauer. “I've been humbled by the whole experience, from me losing everything to me having to regain public opinion, or whatever it is,” he said. “But most importantly, you know, knowing that what I did was totally wrong, and having to kind of deal with myself and forgive myself in the same breath, and being able to apologize to Rihanna, and being able to be that man that can be a man, you know?"
Brown, who conveniently just released a new single called “Fine China,” also took a moment to clear up rumors that he and Rihanna had split once again. “We’re fine … Everything’s good. We’re fine,” he said. Rumors first circulated over the weekend after an interview Brown gave to radio station Power 106. He explained to Lauer that quotes about their relationship were simply taken from old footage. Brown’s new CD, X, is due out sometime this summer. Watch the full interview, above. |

The tot is the latest celebrity to try out the trend, debuting her super-short fringe over the weekend while heading out for a playdate in New York City. But unlike the Duchess of Cambridge’s side-swept bangs or Kardashian’s blunt style, the 6-year-old’s new chopped locks call to mind another ‘do — that of her mother, Katie Holmes, on the day the actress said “I do” to her now ex-husband, Tom Cruise (see inset). Above all, though, the bang style begs the question: Did little Suri get her hands on a pair of scissors for a DIY haircut? Either way, the tot looks as darling as ever. But weigh in on the debate. |
| Posted: 01 Apr 2013 07:28 AM PDT  Fans of The Carrie Diaries' coupling of Sebastian (Austin Butler) and Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) should keep an eye on their boy. With just two episodes left in The CW show's season, the couple is in for some bumps in the road. Much of that has to do with Carrie's need to over think everything — a blessing and a curse when it comes to her relationship with Sebastian. "[Carrie] thinks about things in a different way than most girls in high school do," Butler tells reporters of what attracts Sebastian to Carrie at a recent screening of Monday's episode. "She understands things on this deeper level," he continues. "It's a more vulnerable place to have that deep connection with a person. But that always ends in some type of pain, because it ends up ripping your heart out rather than some sort of superficial relationship." Sebastian definitely serves a distinct purpose in this chapter of young Carrie's life. Monday's episode revolves around the launch of Madonna’s “Like A Virgin” tour and is all about first times. Sebastian tells Carrie he loves her, but her first inclination is to blurt out that she wants to have sex with him — meaning, she wants him to be her first. But, that (strangely enough for a high school boy) isn't what he's looking for. "I think Sebastian really wants to be a connected person to somebody and he doesn't have parents who have given him that, and Carrie feels like a real connection, but it's been exhausting," executive producer Amy B. Harris explains. "It's not easy to be with someone who wants to talk about their feelings, and Carrie is someone who can't not say [their feelings] and in a way that's wonderful for someone like Sebastian. And on the other hand, it could be a long journey with someone like that." Of course, as much as we want Carrie and Sebastian to work, we know that she ultimately doesn't end up with him. So, how does Butler approach the part when he knows this relationship is destined to fail? "I heard that when Daniel Day Lewis was playing Lincoln, he went to the museum, the Lincoln museum, and didn't go into the room past when he was assassinated, because he didn't need to know anything past that," Butler, 21, explains. "So he wouldn't look at the pillow that had the blood on it and everything." "I kind of feel that way, I have to put the blinders on and put my focus into what is happening right then, and the feeling of love and the feeling of heartbreak and everything that's happening right now, and not ever focus on what is happening in the future." Harris adds, "Personally for me, when my high school boyfriend and I, when I left for college, even though I knew I wasn't going to marry him, we were 17 years old, but I cried for three-and-a-half hours out of the four hours with my parents, because it was the most devastating thing because I actually understood that my first love was going to disappear and I was going to go on to do different things and we both were. And that for me feels real, and there is so much jeopardy." "It doesn't change that I didn't know what the future was for me and who was going to be my Mr. Big, but you just feel it all even sometimes more painfully." Maroon 5 will hit the road with fellow pop-rocker Kelly Clarkson for the 2013 Honda Civic Tour, which will see the Grammy-winning band taking their sound al fresco. “I think the live outdoor kind of summer vibe is always different than the indoor arena tour because there’s less emphasis on production and more on live music,” frontman Adam Levine said in an interview, according to the Associated Press. “It’s kind of the purist form of a tour ’cause there’s not too many bells and whistles.” The 31-date amphitheater tour will kick off Aug. 1 in St. Louis, La., and wrap Oct. 5 in San Diego, Calif. “It’s going to be so much fun. We’re always trying to up the ante and do even better,” Levine said in a video announcing the tour for his fivesome, which also includes Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, and Matt Flynn. “We’re also so excited to bring Kelly Clarkson out with us. We love her so much. She’s an amazing talent. It’s just going to be a really musical summer, with some really great people on this tour.” Along with Clarkson and the quintet, the concerts will include some musical styling from Rozzi Crane, the first artist to sign to Levine’s record label, 222 Records, singer and keyboardist PJ Morton, and Tony Lucca, who was a Team Adam season-two runner-up on The Voice. Maroon 5 is still soaring off the success of Overexposed, their fourth album that has achieved certified platinum status. Following “Payphone” and “One More Time” topping the Billboard Hot 1, “Daylight” landed the group it’s third No. 1 single off of its latest released. The chart-topping tune also bumped up the band’s record for most No. 1s — now six — by a group in the chart’s 20-year history. “It’s so amazing to have an album people connect with and embrace,” Levine continued in the interview. “It’s a dream come true. It’s hard to believe to have lighting strike twice and three times and four times. We’re having a moment. A good moment.” And they are not slowing down anytime soon. | Jessica Celebrates Easter With Her Family Posted: 01 Apr 2013 12:25 PM PDT  This Easter, Jessica Simpson kept it all in the family. The pregnant superstar was photographed going for a stroll through Toluca Lake, Calif., on Sunday, where she was joined by her fiance, Eric Johnson, and their 11-month-old daughter, Maxwell. Simpson, 31, donned an oversized Yale hoodie for the occasion (which, for the record, is Johnson’s alma mater), while her Ivy League husband looked equally casual in a zip-up and sweat shorts.
Little Maxwell, meanwhile, held onto a little stuffed bunny as papa Eric carried her down the sidewalk. Simpson shocked the world in December when she confirmed she was pregnant with her second child, just seven months after giving birth to Maxwell.
