Justin Bieber Leaves A Controversial Message In The Anne Frank House Guestbook Posted: 14 Apr 2013 09:27 AM PDT Oh no. While on tour in Europe, Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam yesterday, according to the Huffington Post. And while we have no doubt that young Bieber learned a few lessons about the value of kindness and humanity, we wish that the good people at the museum didn’t post the message he left in their guest book.
While we have no doubt that Bieber’s message wasn’t intentionally disrespectful, it most definitely pissed off social media users, who took offense to Bieber’s choice of words. “Beyond disappointing that Bieber totally missed the point,” one Facebook user posted. ”Based on Anne’s writing, she was far too mature to have chosen Bieber as a role model or someone to otherwise idolise.” Do you think Bieber’s comments were out of line? |
Changing Tastes: Celebs MTV Audiences Loved From 1992-1996 Posted: 13 Apr 2013 07:33 AM PDT For five years, the MTV Movie Awards had a Most Desirable Male category. (It stopped in 1997, for reasons unknown; Leonardo DiCaprio would have won, anyway.) Most of the choices made sense at the time — with the exception of maybe William Baldwin, who, like the movie he won for (Sliver), is probably worth forgetting about. See who won in their respective years, below, compared to what they look like today.
Keanu Reeves for Point Break (1992) Christian Slater for Untamed Heart (1993) William Baldwin for Sliver (1994) Brad Pitt for Interview With a Vampire (1995) Brad Pitt Again for Seven (1996) For the record, the actresses who won Most Desirable Female were: Linda Hamilton, for Terminator 2: Judgement Day; Sharon Stone, for Basic Instinct; Janet Jackson, for Poetic Justice; Sandra Bullock, for Speed; and Alicia Silverstone, for Clueless The MTV Movie Awards air tonight at 9PM |
Coachella 2013 Day 2: Flower Power, Combat Boots And Vanessa Hudgens Posted: 14 Apr 2013 08:41 AM PDT Yesterday, even more celebrities headed to the Coachella Valley for this year’s music festival, including Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (acting very cute as they walked across the grounds together), Julianne Hough and 2/3 of the Jonas Brothers. Poor Tallulah Willis,19, gets the Off-Her-Rocker award for behaving like an absolute whack job. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore‘s youngest daughter wore a high-waisted two-piece that she paired with combat boots and red socks, a selection that will live on in Coachella history. The teen behaved like she was chocolate-wasted, and then used the assistance of her friend to get the heck out of dodge (or at least away from the cameras). Are you still at Coachella? Let us know in our comments section. |
Fergie Knows The Sex Of Her Baby, But She’s Not Telling Posted: 13 Apr 2013 09:44 PM PDT Last night, Logo held its NewNowNext Awards, attended by Selena Gomez, Willam Belli, Reza Farahan, Kylie Minogue, Naya Rivera and Fergie. The pregnant singer, who posed for photos with Minogue on the black carpet, was honored with the “Always Next, Forever Now” gong. "I could not be more proud to be honored by Logo,” Fergie said after accepting her accolade. ”This award is so incredibly special to me because of the tremendous love and support I have always experienced from the LGBT community.” Before that, Fergie told E! that while she’s well aware of her baby’s sex, she’s not saying a damn thing about it. In fact, the singer made a zip-the-lips motion. What about cravings? “Fruit has become a staple where is wasn’t before,” Fergie said. ”It’s mangos, papayas, anything really juicy and sweet.” Tell us about your dreamy husband, Josh Duhamel, and how excited he is about being a dad. “He’s been amazing,” Fergie gushed about Duhamel. “He so nice and wonderful. He sings and talks to my belly all the time. He’s very complimentary. I’m very lucky that he’s really good to me. “He’s going to be an amazing father. He’s got natural parenting instincts. And he wanted to knock me up on our first date.” Swoon. |
MTV Movie Awards Flashback: Amanda Bynes And More In 2003 Posted: 14 Apr 2013 08:38 AM PDT The 2013 MTV Movie Awards airs tonight from Sony Studios in Culver City, and you can expect appearances from a cast of thousands, including Brad Pitt and Zac Efron. In honor of the annual ceremony, we invite you to look back at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, held at LA’s Shrine Auditorium. Paris Hilton was just establishing herself as society-girl-cum-famous-for-nothing celebrity, and Amanda Bynes was Nickelodeon’s funny gal. Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson were just about to launch their reality series, and Ryan Reynolds was engaged to Alanis Morrisette. I know. Launch the gallery to pick up what I’m throwing down. |
Psy’s ‘Gentleman’ Is Almost Too Weird Not To Be A Hit Posted: 14 Apr 2013 08:39 AM PDT Yesterday, Psy released the music video for his second single, “Gentleman.” It’s equally as confusing as his first (a little ditty called “Gagnum Style”), but can lightning strike twice? Crowds gathered at Seoul’s World Cup Stadium for the performance, while another 160,000 watched it live online, according to Reuters. I do appreciate a good houndstooth jacket, though. Ok, gang. Do we like the single? Sound off in the comments section. |
Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson Enjoy Coachella With Pal Katy Perry Posted: 13 Apr 2013 03:34 PM PDT All the kids traveled two-ish hours east of LA for Coachella this year, and Katy Perry joined her friends, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on day one in Indio, CA. The three hung with a group of people while watching Jurassic 5′s performance last night. Pattinson wore a hooded sweatshirt while drinking Gatorade, and Stewart hung close by him in printed body-con skirt and backwards cap. Earlier this week, Stewart and Pattinson celebrated her 23rd birthday with close pals at Janes House in Hollywood. An eyewitness told Celebuzz that rather than hang in a VIP area, the party stuck to the more public scene. “They were all hanging out in front of the other guests and looked like they were having a great time together," the source said. |
Kim Kardashian Hits The Fashion Mark While Promoting ‘Glam’ Posted: 14 Apr 2013 08:39 AM PDT After what was most definitely a stressful Friday, Kim Kardashian flew to Las Vegas today to promote her third fragrance, Glam. The scent is a floral – fruity mixture with a powdery woody-musky background. According to the Huffington Post, Kardashian’s estranged husband, Kris Humphries did not show up for their appointed court date yesterday in Los Angeles, a move that that could cost him a fine. The pregnant start left the courthouse flanked by ten L.A. County sheriffs after the judged rescheduled another hearing for April 19th. Humphries’ lawyer said no settlement had been reached, so both parties are still going ahead with their May 6th trial. |
Pink And Her Sexy Stomach Perform In Dublin Posted: 14 Apr 2013 07:24 AM PDT Pink showed off a stomach that appears to have never housed a fetus last night in Dublin, Ireland, the latest stop on her The Truth About Love tour.
It’s almost hard to believe she gave birth to daughter Willow Hart, who turns 2 on June 2nd. Speaking of which, it appears that the little whipper snapper is developing quite the personality. Pink tweeted:
The tour will take Pink to England later this month. |
