"Private's Gladiator is all set to make history with the biggest budget film yet made within the adult sector with Antonio Adamo directing a super ambitious remake of the Gladiator story. The film, which will be released as a trilogy, is set to make history not so much as simply an adult movie, but more as a mainstream movie with a strong hardcore emphasis. With 26 girls including some of Private's hottest starlets - Rita Faltoyano, Lynn Stone, Sophie Evans, Petra Short and a host of horny new talent. The part of Maxximus is played by Toni Ribas and the scheming emperor Commodus is portrayed by Frank Gunn.
The atmosphere on the set is one of excitement as actresses and actors alike are caught up in the excitement of appearing in this groundbreaking production. Both in the comedy and in the red hot hardcore scenes, the sensation of the enormity of the project is transmitted clearly by the enthusiasm of the cast to act to perfection, and by their obvious enjoyment of the sex scenes, and with the pure physical form of girls and guys alike it is not hard to see why the enjoyment is so obviously for real.
With a breathtaking set that incorporates a full sized reconstruction of the arena in Malta where Ridley Scott filmed the coliseum scenes from his "Gladiator", production advisors from the Italian traditional cinema industry, and over 200 extras; the movie will incorporate the latest digital effects, wild animals, and a vast array of authentic props including items from the original Gladiator production.
Private's most prestigious director Antonio Adamo, known for his Private Penthouse and Virtualia series, has virtually built a Roman city including tents, jail, bordello, Senate, baths, bedrooms and sauna in the huge studio in Budapest where the movie is being filmed. In a space that would comfortably accommodate a couple of Boeing 747s, the expression "Rome wasn't built in a day" has never been nearer the truth.
Technically, the film represents a huge challenge, and Antonio Adamo has made sure nothing is left to chance with lighting technicians from cinema, a large team of professional set designers and builders, and the use of multi-angle techniques to further enhance the DVD version.
The atmosphere on the set is more like a Hollywood production with dozens of technicians, wardrobe people, make-up team, carpenters and painters, creating a hive of activity 14 hours a day as cast and crew go about the business of construction, costume fitting, make-up…until the moment when Mr. Adamo picks up his megaphone and shouts "action" and silence descends as the cameras start to roll."
